Well, many believe that the so called “monster” was a KV-2 but it was actually a KV-1. In the picture from the memorial, it says KV-1 tank Crew, and below the names of the crewmen are written
I know there is a debate of was it a KV-1 or KV-2 in the battle but to quote from BazBattles “a monstrous tank launching 152 mm shells sounds way more badass”
My word!!! A well produced video that accurately depicts the difficulties of "operational conversion" of foreign pilots unfamiliar with the new aircraft & command and control systems they were expected to operate in. I was expecting another "The Brits treated the Polish airmen like idiots" type of video so beloved of clueless YT content creators but was surprised by the well written and presented facts. Well done "Ares28" !!!
The Poles who had continued the fight against conquerors of Poland after the Polish collapse in Oct 1939, were HUGELY grateful for the postwar gift of UK citizenship after the evils of communism had stolen their homelands after WW2.
@@elladowling2005 Your evidence of that Ella? As a credulous person, apparently easily duped by the lefties, you'll be blind to the fact that in 1943/44 the POLISH govt-in-exile carried out its own independent investigation into Gen Sikorski's death and openly acknowledged multiple potential causes of the event. 1. Germany - Gibraltar was AWASH with German spies and sympathisers. 2. USSR - A Soviet transport aircraft complete with its own Soviet ground crew had been parked next to Gen. Sikorski's B24 Liberator for 24 hours BEFORE its take off. 3. Poland - They even accepted that there was a well known bitter hatred between Sikorski and General Anders, who detested Sikorski for his continued diplomacy with your political heroes the Soviet Union, even after the discovery of the Katyn massacres, and that Anders himself sought increased political influence within the Polish contingent, potentially at the expense of Sikorski. But being the silly left wing dupe you appear to be, you instead do as your lefty programmers tell you and blame Britain without the slightest shred of evidence. Silly girl.
Der Untergang/Downfall was released in 2004, don't know when the meme around this scene started, seems to never die. and still hitting the mark. love you wierdos
