i have been looking for this for YEARS!!!! stopped looking and for some reason i looked it up today. That was a crazy year for color guard. the choreography was amazing but so hard. I forget his name, but he showed us the count and moves like 2 times. and then he was "ok you got it". Bootcamp style. We were a mess in this video. lol He wasn't there after that, choreography got easier after that. wish it didn't.
Wow! How fun to watch this after all these years. Even more fun to have been a part of it as a colorguard. Because of this championship win, we were invited to the 1982 World's Fair parade in Knoxville, TN and also the Walt Disney World parade in Orlando, FL. What a fantastic year!
It all came flooding back - I remember my marks and how great it felt to hit every one. We were a solid unit this night and it really paid off! Thanks for the memories!!
this is the main stage of the brooks center at clemson university. however, this particular show featured special lighting and audio equipment. i am not certain on whether or not everything you see belongs to the university or if it was rented. but the main lights up top and stage setup is all apart of the university's facilities.
