You know I as a wrestler I did cross trained with some BJJ guys. They would not let me start from my feet. I think it is just a comfort thing(or advantage thing).
Damn Dom I miss you so much already 😢💔 You were a great friend & holidays & football won't be the same without you 😢. You were the best host ever but I guess God needed you in his house to host more....rest easy in heaven 🙏
Amazing story! Wonderful to see the respect and admiration that Bob had for Rolls. After all these years, you can sense the sadness he feels from Rolls' death.
💯 so moving and historic . Felt like he was going to cry at the end but held it in. What gracious humble dude, especially about the match, kept it honest. 🙏
I really enjoyed watching both parts 1 & 2, your video documentary is amazing, I was really touched when Mr. Anderson presented the Pan American Gold Medal to his son Rolls Jr., on his father's behalf. I'm sure Rolls is really smiling down at the two.
An amazing story, what a lovely person Bob Anderson is too. I remember seeing or hearing about the medal story years ago and really hoping Rolles would be able to collect this on behalf of his father. So glad to see it happened. Rolls was in my opinion the real genius of the Gracie family. He really is a legend, like something from Greek mythology or a fantasy novel, the prince that was promised meets Ser Arthur Dayne.
Congrats 🥳 on blue belt my man 👏💪. I trained Muay Thai for while & then fell in love with BJJ too (my Wrestling very limited). I only wish I trained a Gracie JJ system like u, I got stuck with sport Machado gym. My dream is to get back to training & get my blue belt one day
@@HumanInterested Gazze seems awesome! Looking at the blue belt syllabus & requirements it’s seems like a Gracie lineage or related, is it? I love that u must memorise 10 takedowns (I barely know 3 😂), & the self defense aspect…..very lacking in most gyms in Melbourne Australia. Only 2 Gracie related gyms in entire City
This man, Bob, more important than the great fighter he was, he is a great person. This meeting between Bob and Rolls was very good for both of them. I'm from Brazil and Rolls was the best bjj Gracie fighter ever.
Amazing story what bothers me the most is Rorion gracie claims he was the first Gracie to come to the U.S. but it was Rolles for some reason Rorion never acknowledges Rolles but in many interviews Rickson praises Rolles.
