Hi I am a railfan who films around Southwestern British ColumbIa Canada, I had moved to Alberta for work, You will see my videos filmed on the CN Yale Sub, CPKC Cascades, and Page subs. the BCR Port Sub. and The BNSF New Westminster Sub. with the odd trip into the Interior of BC and The USA. I had lived in Edmonton from 2011-2013 so I have many videos CN Edson and Wainright subs. with the Odd video from the CN Camrose, and Vegreville subs.and also the CP Leduc sub. I also have railfanned around Newcastle/Newtonville Ontario (mainly in a place in between called Lovekin) with shots of the CN Kingston Sub. and the CP Belleville Sub when I get the money. My cameras of choice is my Apple iPhone 14 Pro MAX as I am saving up for a 4K Cmacorder. I also utilize a Uniden BC72XLT scanner and The Canadian Trackside Guide for Train Numbers. At Spuzzum, the CN main is on the eastern side of the Fraser River and the CP main is on the western side. Is it not the case that from Hope, up the Fraser River and beyond, westbound CP and CN trains use the CN main, whilst eastbound trains use the CP main? (a more efficient system than running 2 bidirectional single-track operations). So, seeing CP and CN locos on the same train ( nominal CN or CP) should not come as a surprise. Note: I should now use CPKC instead of CP!
