While cinnamon and sugar is very common in beef spice blends I'm not sure I've ever seen someone use vanilla or cocoa. Honestly I don't know if your being serious or not bit if you are I would say that only way to find out that works is to try it.
I just made these right now. I found the same recipe online before coming here. My cheesecake filling was absorbed into the cookies. It didn't taste bad, just wasn't what I wanted. And these dont taste like churros. They taste like snickerdoodles.
Go 26yrs without ever being told that make content for 3yrs and now everyone notices I'm not mad just sad I didn't know before because I would've taken advantage of that
You are measuring the temperature of the bottom of the pan by having the thermometer all the way in to the bottom. For all the calories in divinity, I can’t imagine ruining it with something like store brand generic artificially flavored gelatin.
I know because of the pot and the angle it looks like that but it is measuring in the middle of the syrup. The idea behind jelo divinity is that it is a easier, less temperamental and funner way to do it so you can get little ones involved and they can experiment with different flavors. I would definitely make real divinity on the channel but I have to wait till I have someone to gift it to because I can't eat that much sugar anymore. Hope this clarifies the idea behind it and Merry Christmas
If your buying any poultry it's recommended to not wash raw poultry for cross contamination reasons as the splash and small microbes could wind up anywhere in the kitchen. If you harvest your own poultry I would recommend rinsing it outside for the same contamination reasons
