This tournament ended with Dhoni finishes off in style, a magnificent strike into the crowd. India lift the World Cup after 28 years. The party has started into the dressing room
My first ever tournament as a cricket fan that I witnessed on TV actually. I just got promoted to class 3 with the highest grades in my school and I still remember my dad buying me a MRF bat and a tennis ball cuz I told him I will play at the world cup honestly I didn't know about cricket so much back then I just found it interesting the way the players were hitting the ball with the willow..... 8 years have passed and today I read in class 11 just cleared my ICSE with good grades but still this tournament will always have a special place in Mt heart😅 I still remember crying the whole night when I realized that India lost the semis against the Windies despite that brilliant Kohli show yeah I mean it's still fresh those memories❤
Same story i also went to class 3 i was in a wedding during the final just when i came back to house carlos braithwaite had hit 4 sixes to win it 😮, now i cleared 10th with 94% and will be going to 11th
Also, about overnight old black and white movies worth watching, if you can still find them. Here in Chicago, the ABC affiliate WLS used to have access to all the old 30s, 40s and 50s RKO studio classics. On Friday and Saturday nights they would air 3 titles till 6AM + -. But this ended around ten years ago in 2013, when infomercials took over. But, glad I got many of these on VHS. One thing about these old features, they possess lots of charm.
Love this version. The black and white makes it seem more authentic. If they had movie cameras in the 1840s, this is what it would look like. Same with the 1930s Christmas film "Scrooge", with Sir Seymour Hicks, which i prefer over all others. It appears to be very much of it's time, the 1840s.
