I can testify that the household technique is very effective. Years ago I bought a memory program that showed this technique and it definitely works! Another technique for remembering peoples names or whatever you choose to remember goes like this: I meet someone and want to remember their name. So what I do is scan their person and think about what stands out to me about them. Then once I hear their name I create in my mind a quick and crazy story about that person's name and how they look but I choose an extreme scenario in order to solidify my memory of their name. Example: I meet a bald dude named Harry. In my mind now I'm going to create a wacky scenario in which Harry realizes that he is not Harry at all because he is bald and Harry starts throwing things at me and other people screaming," I'm not HARRY!" Now I will forever remember that his name is Harry. The more extreme the scenario the better.
I had to learn how to be an adult when I was only 10 years old. It kind of made my whole perspective of it quite unusual compared to most. They just think they have to dress and act a certain way but still have no foundation of how to maintain anything. It's all just smoke and mirrors as they say. I do things people consider childish but I didn't have any parental figure I raised myself. I used ancient philosophy as my foundation for everything I do. it was like planting a seed and now it's grown into something most cannot comprehend they just think it's silly. If the fool didn't laugh then it wouldn't be profound.

Do we have different relationships to one another, in parallel/past/future lives? Or is this story far more simple? Am I still just the little abused and bullied girl, with zero self esteem, who fell for the covertly-abusive man, offering little more than breadcrumbs? (* What's really hard for abuse victims to recognize: is when they're being abused!) Anyway, Either way, we end up in the same place. You: off making your wildest dreams come true, with my replacement. Me: traumatized broken-hearted, in agony. What fairness is this? Where is the justice? Where is God in all of this?
Yeah, I've done projects that were outside of the typical way projects or lectures should be done in college and I never could grasp how a college presentation should be done. It took me awhile to get how to write academically because I was so used to creative writing.
Well if you look at it in the context of who will be able to effectively protect you in a time where it was survival of the fittest then this would make perfect sense.
As a creative person myself, who does art to satisfy my soul, i can say how much abuse and embarrassment i got, and shame, and lack of understanding from people who got to see my ideas, as “cringe” as they are.. I would never wish upon myself to be an ordinary person with no interests and no bravery to express my thoughts and emotions.
So you're saying guns kill people? As an owner of many firearms of various makers and models, I've never had one of mine go kill a person. Many of my friends also own many and none of theirs have gone and killed a person. I don't see how "Guns Kill People"
I see people that want their fellow man to treat each other with the golden rule, “do onto others as you would do onto yourself “ they want them to be accountable for their actions and have those standards, but don’t want to be accountable to a higher power that perhaps has standards that are superior to you and me and are beneficial for everyone, consciousness is the ability to be aware of our existence and a gift that should be used to attain to a higher purpose than just sitting around playing video games all day, having fun is part of the process of being human but there are better things to do with the gift of using one’s mind reading and writing etc than animalistic behavior such as porn ,war ,vices ,hate etc there is always something better to life ,just like there is always someone bigger stronger faster smarter richer than you , having guidance from trustworthy people with a good track record is a good place to start , once you have some semblance of that knowledge your door to the future is open before you! At 73 I've learned that life, and most of the people in it, try to knock you down, and when you're down they step on you to make themselves feel superior. Only Jesus, and a few good friends, have lifted me back up again.
Long ago I read or heard that women marry men who they think they can change into better men, but men don't change. And men marry women they like just the way they are and that they won't change, but women do change through life. Hence the friction and disappointment.

I am 30 years old, look 22, feel like 16. Day 496. 15 months. Went by like nothing. My voice and face are getting manlier, I’m getting stronger by the day, thanks to a strict diet and daily routine of long evening walks. Even my long and curly hair is coming back! Man, there were times when my hair had started thinning and I lost so much hair that I had to do a comb-over to the side! Now my hair is beginning to get thick and strong again. And remember to keep watch over your sleep cycle! You might *feel* as if you can take on the world with 4 hours of sleep every night while on indefinite retention… however… 5 days or so later… then you will be sleepy as hell during the day and won’t know why… And be careful with your language, during a fit of rage! Words can cut as deep as any blade… mind your language and seek for constructive conduct, especially when dealing with expectations when in contact with your near and dear ones. After 5.5 years, I’m at the beginning of a new job. I love this new opportunity! I am given a one-year trial period. I have been promoted and if I can’t succeed at this workplace, I can always go back to my old workplace. However: I have trained myself to like doing difficult things. So then: what do I want to do with my Life? Out of the hottest fire comes the strongest steel. THAT’s the metaphor I’m using from now on. Also: I am beginning to look more handsome by the day (or so people tell me). Most people called me ugly during puberty. Those days are gone. The following is one thing I read in a comment from someone else, in short: “Evolution designed us that way. Spill more Life force, become less attractive and thus less prone to attracting a potential mating partner.” I noticed this during puberty. No girl ever wanted to be with me. Today, I can go out in the rain in a heavy rain coat, wear a hoodie and a scarf and still some girls kindly greet me on the street! And the exceptional young woman that I have been friends with for the last 2 years (a little over 1 year, effectively. Because when we just met, she went on an exchange program to Sweden for University) is starting to grow fond of me. She is 23 years old, but we share a connection that’s one of a kind. Loving care comes naturally to the both of us. And I have had enough setbacks in the past from a socio-emotional standpoint that I’ve become a monk on semen retention, just because I want to make sure that I’m okay with myself if everyone else isn’t. But we are gradually getting to know more about each other. And we respect each other for it. She honours me for my celibacy and strength of will. And I honour her for her diligence and patience with herself. I shall see what the future holds, but for now I’m happy that we both can enjoy each other’s company just sitting next to each other, eyes closed with my head on her shoulder and enjoying Nature’s sounds. That’s bliss from my point of view. Also: my transformation radiates outwards through my family. My parents are getting on better terms with their respective brothers and sisters, something that had been a dream for years! Suddenly out of nowhere, they are the best of friends and are able to let them be in negativity if that’s the case, but they won’t act on it anymore. Life is on my side again! 🥲 Brothers, retain your Life force! Gradual changes during the days and weeks snd months will bring you a change like day and night when compared over 2 years! Before, Life was a constant struggle. Now, Life still throws me some mighty thought provoking and sometimes even painful challenges, but whenever there is the slightest acceptance from my side, it instantly gets easier to handle, until it disappears and never returns again. Also: during puberty, no one of my peers wanted me. Now girls want me and guys want to *be* me. I even got a kind greeting and a wink from some well-dressed (probably even higher placed!) chap at my new workplace, even though we never met before! Here’s to a second puberty, in peace! If you love your little ones force them, with yourself in the room, to learn the way to navigate life , first through the bible, then with Peterson to explain the workings of the brain to them.
Now we exist in a dystopic world populated by Tinker Bells and Peter Pans, yeah, but boy-oh-boy-oh-boy are they ever coming to pieces right before our eyes, and by the millions. The current generation, and the one preceding it, are doomed to suffer the meaninglessness they have chosen over a meaningful life.
i was the black sheep of 8 kids,, tossed out into the streets at age 16,,,, slept under cars until i found a youth hostel (early 80's,,, not much support) that kinda makes you grow up fast
Wow I disagree with a lot of this. (Only listened to half.) I get up when I have had enough sleep, which is a different time every day. I don't eat for the first 5 hours of the 'day', because I'm not hungry. I drink alcohol. Who is this guy? Like a bitter dormitory master at a private Catholic boys school ..
