Don't come expecting high-level gameplay or pro stuff. I'm rubbish at games and I have terrible aim, I just like to show you how to get things working and showing things off. People who be rude about it will be removed from commenting on the channel.

Great to be reminded of this! I have experimental but I do need to add proton GE. Had it downloaded before but my deck has gone through the ringer a few different times. Tried to go into desktop mode and it blacked out. thought it was running really good for a while. But that switch has always made my heart stop a bit. Not easy for the deck to do.
I did everything like it said in the video but when I open stardew I just doesn’t work :( I mean the mods are installed and in the mods folder but don’t appear in-game, anyone else experiencing this?
I work at a materials testing lab, we have lots of free time. I was watching this video and the power to the entire building went out right as Gordon entered the crystal lmao
hey ..i know its 4 years ago now but im switching now from Windows to Linux and i wonder how you get it to run ..dont you need Xbox live to run it in Linux? i mean i can start it but it allways fails to connect to xbox live because its Not supported for Linux ...is there there a pathway to get arround without Xbox live im currious?
You should check out Fur Squadron, it’s quite similar to Star Fox as well, there’s also a sequel to it called Fur Squadron Phoenix which gave Fur Squadron something in common with Banjo Kazooie & Fossil Fighters. All 3 of them are good but the sequels, Banjo Tooie, Fossil Fighters Champions, & Fur Squadron Phoenix, are better. I hope Fur Squadron doesn’t get a bad third game like Banjo & Fossil Fighters did with Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts & Fossil Fighters Frontier.
I haven't tried this on Linux yet, I do plan to go back to it on my deck, probably bazzite But on Windows I added a 800x600 resolution and I got about 90fps with iffy frametimes. I can see in your recording that frame times are a lot better on Linux in general so try adding a 800x600 resolution, it should def help make it better!
Very helpful and to the point. Wanted this for the NPC locator mod but also discovered the fishing mod thanks to this video. Both are seemingly working well with no issues.
Seemed like great advice but it didn't seem to work for me on Burnout Paradise Remastered. Although choosing to delete the proton files doesn't seem to do anything so maybe that's why?
Thanks, this was very helpful. This is this first time I've done modding on the Steam Deck (or even Linux) so I've never used Konsole or even much of the desktop features before. Now I've got a nice bunch of QoL mods for Stardew :)
Quick reminder you can still play Rust, just not on EAC enabled server which are the grand majority. You can still join/host private unprotected servers and play with a group. There is also a notorious, active server called Deadlock which you can find through Steam's Game browser (or google for the website). The population is usually 10-30 players.
Wonderfully crisp and to the point. I never watch harware instruction movies on YT that are longer than 4 minutes. Instead, I watch one for the overview, one for how to get started. The rest I will find out when experimenting, getting help from ChatGPT.
