Welcome all to David Weiner's RU-vid channel. I'm a former Entertainment Tonight writer and interviewer (13 years!) and the last executive editor of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. I know a thing or two about a thing or two, love retro stuff, '70s & '80s pop culture -- and all things TIKI.
Peter Weller really made the Engineering An Empire series on the History channel a decade and a half ago come to life and transcend the usual documentary blandness.
This is also how Cyndi Lauper got the idea of the title for her song late night flipping through the channels and stumbled upon the movie Time After Time
George... you could've been amazing!... a legend even!... 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️... you chose arrogance... stubborness... & ignorance... a real shame... for all Australians at the time!!!
Os jovens aprendem a resiliência de Keanu. O esporte salva vidas !Amigos verdadeiros não permitem que fiquemos tristes,e se ficarmos não nos traem ! ✨️✨️✨️💕☺️
There are even some MORONS out there, who actually prefer the remake all just because they think it had better CGI and visual effects... 🤨 ...Like SERIOUSLY??? That would be like sayin' Metropolis (1927) should've been custom-tailored to appeal more towards audiences from 2027. Now do you see how this doesn't make ANY sense? These hopeless morons all seem to think that the whole entire 'Robocop' franchise should've been based on the remake, or just whatever time period/era that THEY came from! I just wonder, who came up with that kinda ASS-BACKWARDS way of thinking? 🤔 Caravan of garbage? More like, a total bag of SHIT!!! 💩
Love them both. Heather was right when she hugs Robert and says he deserves to be among the ranks of legendary horror villains. He brought so much to that character and no one could ever play it like him. Robert IS Freddy. The way he moves, his eyes, his voice, everything.
Ironic that he was making the case about movies that should never be remade. And he was starring in the disastrous Into Darkness which was a pitiful attempt at remaking Wrath Of Khan.
Im totally agree with heather's said, the fans love to hear this actors talk about theire experiences in the films and in real life, i love this kind of interviews because i can feel closer to them, i love nancy's character so much, and watching heather give us this interviews is very important to fans
He’s absolutely right about the story and filmmaking having to be there. You can dress up some stew in a fancy pot but if it’s not got the ingredients to make it great it’s just hot water.
Jesus... Imagine actually owning and LIVING in that house!! Would you feel like royalty, like you're living in a world-recognised icon? Or, would you feel cursed - that every kid in the neighbourhood knows that THIS is the house, and they'd constantly be acting out scenes on your front lawn??? Let's acknowledge how the house just simply, absolutely has that movie look about it. It literally looks like a giant toy house - like a doll house!! Amazing and absolutely stunning, for all of its subtle creepiness! I only just came across this video now (February 2024), after I got a recommended 'modern trailer' of the film in my list. Wish I'd seen it ten years ago!
I remember this actor I was in love with Diana Rigg and I thought 🤔 it wasn't fair that George Lazenby was very good looking it wasn't fair i was so jealous of him i was a little boy I am mow 58 years old I still watch this movie 🍿 to this very day
