I know this is blasphemy or whatever, but I actually like this better than the original. Getting a total later Smashing Pumpkins vibe from this one. It sounds like "Stand Inside Your Love". Fuckin' awesome!
One of the most beautiful and under-rated bands the UK ever produced. If they had only been with the right label and been around at the right time they could have made it.... Instead the music industry chewed them out and spit them up to the point where they couldn't stand to stay together.
About a year ago this was the first time I ever heard a David Ford song. It was a wedding ceremony in the Scottish highlands and everybody was waiting for the bride when the stereo starting playing this utterly beautiful song. Blew me away, goosebump attacks. And nowadays, in about four weeks time, David will be playing our Static Roots Festival in Germany.
puressence are so underated,I think they are a fantastic band,all there albums and singles are brilliant,there show's are great,I can't say enough about them.😈
Back in 2006 my band supported Cosmic Rough Riders at The Square in Harlow. Loved this track ever since I first heard them play it in their soundcheck. Cracking bunch of people too!
@seder33ste Totally agree.This band is excellent and their music is just perfect to the ear. They have awesome songs especially my fav ''All I Want'' from their second album Only Forever.
