It's not true. I have a residency card but still I can not start my Etsy and Amazon Store, It's still asking for government issued photo ID and I also have formed a company as guided in a QA session of E Residency, but still forming a company isn't sufficient because it's asking for physical address proof with any utility bill under my name and photo ID having my photo with DOB written on it. And E residency or forming a company does not provide these things. Even you also can not open bank account as Pakistani in Estonia even for company...
Hello! Something is not clear for me. I can start a company as an e-resident, but that does not guarantee a business bank account? How come? A company needs to have a bank account. Where should I create that business bank account? In my country? Also, is there any video regarding the company taxes? Thank you!
Hello, The decision to extend or deny banking services to an e-resident is made at the sole and absolute discretion of the banking service providers, who have the right to ask for additional information as they are private entities. This video is actually part 1 of a four-part video series to help you get started with e-Residency of Estonia which also includes the following videos - part 2: Starting a company in Estonia; part 3: Business Banking for e-residents; part 4: Cross-border taxation for e-residents. So, the next parts should also cover all your questions about banking and taxes. Job-finding assistance falls unfortunately out of our area of expertise, however, you can find a lot of useful information about living and working in Estonia here: workinestonia.com/.
Thank you! I want to get my payments via Stripe. Because in Türkiye Stripe is not working. With e-residency, can I open a Stripe account and get payment to my Estonian bank account(or Turkish)?
Stripe is a private company that has the right to decide who it can open accounts for so no one but them can guarantee that you will be able to open one. Though the e-Residency programme does not directly help to open a Stripe account, we know that many e-residents use it for their business banking. For more information and support, we also recommend consulting with a business service provider, you can find a list of service providers from our Marketplace: marketplace.e-resident.gov.ee/en/service-providers/?services=54
Firstly, there is a state fee for processing e-Residency applications. The amount varies from €100 to €120 and depends on the pickup location you choose. The state fee for establishing a Private Limited Company (or OÜ in Estonian) is €256.
To this day, I have not benefited from this residency because no one is willing to open a bank account for you while you are not a resident of European countries.
Unfortunately, we don't have a pickup location in Bangladesh. You can see all the available pickup locations here: www.e-resident.gov.ee/pick-up-locations/
