Normally people do videos when they know what they are doing - you clearly do not. Also you have your transom plate on the wrong side - all looks a total bodge - best try some comedy.
Great video! Thanks for this. How's the boat holding up? You weren't kidding about this glue setting up fast. I had a 6" x 12" patch to put on a tear on my 9' pvc. As soon as I did the patch and turned to start on the boat, the patch started to dry up. I took your advice on using a larger brush.
I do a partial inflation, about a 80%. I'm working on an inflatable kayak as soon as my pvc boat in done. The Sea Eagle glue has finally crumbled and the bottom is coming off.
Hello ! I found your video very helpful and I found out about HH-66 and I will try it soon . How can stick the floor of my PVC Zodiac ? All in one step (with heating step by step for the dry sides ) , or little by little so the glue doesn't dry too much ? Thanks
just wanted to know how well your repair has held up after 4 years? i just got what looks like the same boat as yours and i need basically the same repairs.
Hi It is great video. Now I know what type of glue you used. I have seen it in other videos. Do you know how much glue you used to glue the transom? Thanks
Hi It is great video. I have a Zodiac MK II Grand, which I'm trying to glue the transom back. What kind of glue would you recommend? I used polymarin for the patches, but not sure what glue to use for the transom since it wood. Thanks
