Another brilliant song from Sting and very well done. I would have swapped a nice mutted trumpet solo for the slide guitar but still very nice arrangement. I would have loved to have heard Sinatra and some of his contemporaries take a shot at this tune. Or Marvin Gaye I think would have done it justice.

Mr Porter sings this song how it was meant to be sung. The whole experience of this song to me is like finding a gold or diamond mine, that someone finds and starts to mine . 5:28 But they're only able to scratch the surface. And then someone else comes behind them with the proper tools and bring in the (mother- load)
..well, the little added in phrases in Spanish here and there are a nice touch. It really gives the song more of a "Stalker vibe" flavor, almost sounds like a Cartel threat. ..keeps the song from getting boring, repetitive, gives it a bit more zest.
as someone said..when you can bring Nina Simone's vibes mixed with talent and pure truth you have reached the ethereal..very rare and incredible performance by Annie Lennox thanks to Sting's beautiful song
Why did Annie Lenox participate? Who set up this travesty? They should be made to stand up publically and explain “why?” This was criminal and cruel for Sting and Jose.
