I’m 42, shop at ulta, the point system is good I usually get around $10 off each purchase. Also, faithfully wear It cc and double wear, and I like bare minerals. Sephora is so spendy for the average shopper. I like that Ulta has a mix of high end and drug store.

My sideburns do the same so i just straighten them a little bit to make them manageable and rock them like that lol but i dont slick my hair back it looks terrible on me
I agree! I’m so fed up with this “neutral” that brands make! Here in the UK we can’t even return cosmetics at all. So I have bought so many foundations and concealers because they just can’t make a proper neutral undertone! Sometimes if the reviews say they come up yellow I have even bought a warm and a cool shade to try and balance it. But I usually like to buy a lighter shade and a deeper shade of foundation and concealer because I can mix them from summertime to winter depending on how light or dark I am. o i don’t want to have to buy 4+ shades just to get it right!! Mixing pigments have come a long way over the years thank goodness! When I started out as a mua well over 20 years ago it wasn’t really a thing and shades were far worse back then!
Nice to see someone else who is actually using the right amount of sunscreen! So many people on here show themselves applying all their skincare and are not shy with moisturiser etc but they use not even a quarter of the sunscreen they need to! Probably because it takes time to sink into the skin but if you’re filming it is simple to just do something for 20 minutes while it sinks in and then carry on. The joys of filming, it’s literally seconds for the viewer!
The colour correctors from LA.colour are a must have. I accidentally ordered the wrong shade in my MUFE foundation and where I live you can’t return makeup. The blue corrector makes it possible for me to use the foundation anyway. 💕
Great choices Blair!! Love my Gucci Bronzer. It has such a pretty natural glow to it!!! Im not a swipe some orange stripes for bronzer girl. Gucci all the way🎉🎉😊😊
My favourite lipstick is Michelle (don’t remember the number). It’s pretty everyday colour. For foundation - they do the best foundations for me in the world, these are the only foundations I’ve managed to actually finish. I loved the ultra velvet (black one) when my skin was more combo, since I couldn’t repurchase it for so long I tried no 1, it wasn’t the dupe but the finish was so natural and so flattering I started to use it with love as a primer or alone as my skin is a bit dryer now, when I need coverage I use it together with aqua vitalumiere which is also my third package - I don’t love it but it’s a solid product for summer for me with light coverage, I used it even before No1 and quite liked it. All of them I use in shade BD21 which is leaning a bit gold/yellow (I’m slightly olive and pale if that helps but this one isn’t olive tone, it’s just warm undertone). I didn’t love the fresh tint (tried both versions), I like regular blushes just moderately, also shadow sticks were a miss for me, I didn’t like the ultra violet regular foundation (not the black one, the regular one - was too thick for my taste, it’s for oily skin). However I had some obsession about the lip and cheek balm that for a moment was out of stock everywhere - it’s beautiful product and love it so much, same as the highlighting (liquid? Not sure it’s a highlighter in a foundation bottle) is my favourite for so many years, because it give this natural radiant perfect skin without emphasising pores or texture. I have tried many foundations but I like looking natural and Chanel nails it.
I as well havd the Gucci bronzer but i also just dont reach for it. I love the shade (1) but i hate the smell. Its like floral medicine. Ick. It just sits in my bronzer drawer 😔

Also I just ordered a *signed* copy looks in pretty good shape hard cover autobiography of Douglas Fairbanks Jr 😋 and just had to tell someone (I'm a hermit) -- look him up, he's the original Hollywood heart throb, broke the mold after him, etc etc..!! 😊 ❤️😁 Anyhoo you should try NARS powder bronzer it's talc free and no smell!! 🥰
