It was at Camp Sevier in 1917 that the Duke’s Mayonnaise legacy began. Eugenia Duke of Greenville, SC, made sandwiches in her home kitchen to sell to army canteens during WWI. Eugenia’s sandwiches (and the mayo that gave them their special flavor) were so unforgettably delicious that years after they’d left the camp, soldiers wrote to Eugenia begging for her sandwich recipes and jars of her delectable spread. She began bottling it as a product on its own in 1923.
Over the past 100 years, Duke’s has continued to cultivate and celebrate its commitment to family recipes and bold, southern flavors.
In addition to the flagship mayonnaise, which is still made according to Eugenia’s original recipe in Greenville, SC, Duke’s offers light, olive oil, and flavored mayonnaise, tartar sauce, sandwich relish and regionally-inspired Duke’s Southern Sauces and dressings.
They don’t sell Duke’s but in one store in the town over, and you best believe I make that drive. I’m trying to spread the good word here in AZ! Duke’s is the best 🙌
I’ve been doing my own personal little dukes, mayonnaise commercials for quite some time during my live streams. I’ve actually turned a chunk of people on in the Community to Dukes mayonnaise. Dukes needs to hook me up.😂😂

Just had lunch at Wholey Smoke. Fed my family of six. James sat down and talked to us. Every food menu we ordered was excellent and tasty southern BBQ. James also gave a tour of the smokers out back. We are from Elkhart and definitely recommend “Wholy Smoke” to everyone and we will be coming back soon!!!’
I just bought dukes for the 1st time in my life today. I'm 62 years old. How is that even possible? Anyway I was scouring RU-vid for recipes to make with dukes and hit upon this one. Man, I love some fried catfish so this looks right up my alley. I'm gonna have to try it!
