Medallions were cool when they first came out, but they suck now there’s literally only like one good one and it’s Emma Frosts. One completely useless one which is mysterios. Augments were way better and the whole lobby had access to him not just three people
Your not the only one who’s worried about Chapter 2 man. Believe me all of us are worried about it too. I started playing chapter 2 season 1 at the end of 2019 that’s when I got my xbox. And the first time I played when it made me drop in. I won… So like I don’t know if they’ll put the lightsabers in the OG. Cuz remember when they put the lightsabers and the blasters back in Chapter 2 season 1? It’s concerning yes. But however we just need to wait and see. My first skin was the rogue spider knight i got from a card and it’s was on Christmas. But now the skin im rocking and still am til this day is the 8Ball (Golden) cuz its one of the skin that looks so cool n shit you know? I kinda wish that fortnite didn’t add the sprinting, mantling, and sliding mechanics in the game cuz it would really feel like it’s the true OG. If they make chapter 2 reload I would be a little disappointed. Because I don’t want my favorite chapter 2 a small map you know. Wonder if my 8Ball skin gonna be in the remix BP. I also do miss the old BP when there wasn’t any stars and you just find the XP tokens around the map and find the “Fortnite” letters around the map too. And use the boats too. The only transportation on chapter 2 season 1 was on the boats then comes chapter 2 season 2 with the helicopters. On season 3 of chapter 2 I haven’t played much on that season and stuff but i did know that i missed alot of stuff in that season. I haven’t finished that BP. So this is where I couldn’t buy the marvel season and the mando season. Because i lost determination in chapter 2 season 3. I mean if i had so much determination in that BP I would’ve finished that BP and get those seasons and finish em. Don’t get me wrong it’s just that i lost that determination the BP was solid and all. I think they should bring all of that back. And put the rarity colors back. I know alot of people want epic games to bring all of that back. Also I forgot about the fully corrupted scratch skin and the fully gold skins for midas and the skins from chapter 2 season 2 season. I don’t know if you could them fully corrupted/gold for the OG chapter 2 seasons and i think it’s should carry out to it. I remembered the loading screen from those seasons especially season 1. Those loading screens look cool. And really hope and wonder if they’ll do those kind of loading screens again.
Fr. Tbh though I don't beleive the lore reset last time, just more of a soft reboot to transition into Charlie Wen's story. Jones, as well as Midas and his crew still remember past events, so everything from ch2 - 4 still happened. 🤷♂️
@Therapist_Demoman true, but I think most of those were just because of Donald's abrupt retirement. Vibin' was the last Season he fully oversaw, and he had to wrap up the seven and The IOs story quickly, so some things are very unfinished. Chapter 3 and 4 were supposed to be 1 whole chapter, and the story would have been a lot more consistent. Unfortunately they had to cut the chapter short, and had no proper CCO to overlook the story until chapter 5. That's why chapter 4s story was so inconsistent, and they were mostly unfinished ideas from Donald. The team didn't know what to do, so I assume they pulled a soft reboot to freshen it for Charlie.
@Therapist_Demoman I agree. I beleive he has been cooking this chapter, mainly season 3 and 4, and the story has been extremely consistent with pandoras box and Hope. I'm sure the lore is in the right hands.
Augments were really fun. Using bush mud and icy slide was one of my favourites. The different builds added variety to matches which I really needed. Augmented needed to be better maintained, nobody was using the healing when swimming because the map had little to no water. Without augments in the game I have no real fun and I really want them back.
I think what would be better for this video is that you talk about why people hate this or that as you go and then at the end you talk about what we can do and epic can do... You don't have to listen to what i said its just my opinion. And i'm just one person in a big world.

Great video! I think that this season was super fun. At the same time though I personally missed some specific things about Fortnite that I enjoy that weren't present in S3. For me, "normal" Fortnite has a zen sort of quality to it where you're peacefully looting up and exploring the map, interjected by some fun intense fights. In S3, the entire game from the drop to the victory is full of intensity all the time. This is often hilarious and a great time, but there was very little space where you were relaxed and taking stock of your position and equipment - you couldn't really spend much time outside of a car, especially for the first half of the season or so. The craziness is fun but being "on" for 3 months did get tiring. I thought the additions made over the season made being on foot more workable, but it was so lopsided at the start that it turned a lot of people off that didn't come back until Reload, which is a truly awesome game mode. After they removed cars from Ranked I played it a lot and got to Diamond 3 - while it did bring back some of that zen feeling, the map (specifically the desert) was clearly designed for cars and it was kind of odd without them in that biome, there is very little cover which made getting owned by Magneto fists (or doing the owning) very easy. Also, they never ended up removing fists from ranked. It's clear that Epic is willing to take some risks and I think that bodes well for Ch6. Overall, I really enjoyed S3 but I am happy with the return to more traditional Fortnite in S4. Oh, and I think Ninja is a big baby. Waah, the game that made me a multimillionaire took some chances and I didn't like it, so I better scream and howl about it. Come on dude, you're a "grown man" and I know people half your age with twice the maturity. He doesn't like S4 either because people can fly. 🙄
I’d take augments with a community voting system over weapon mods as a permanent fixture. The worst part about augments was when you’re favorites got removed for something shittier, the idea itself was good though
@PilotParadigm jokes aside, tbh I still think scientist and the seven will come back somehow. Whether that be corrupted, or from the past (chapter 2 og). Before Donald left he did say the seven would find a way to come back, so you never know. 🤷♂️
@ChidiAmuta yea, the pandoras box event really got a lot of people hyped again. The story in season 3 is absolutely phenomenal, and I'm excited to see what Charlie wen decides to do moving forward.
I'm new to your channel and I want to say this: I actually saw a leak the other day and it said that the perks are getting re worked right now and probably should make a return in Chapter 6. Subbed btw

Mods should just be as bullshit insane as augments. So you have those without too much rng. It would be so fucking awesome to dunno, make every shotgun behave like a flintlock pistol, or have an underbarrel emp launcher, or a X ray scope or something that gives you moon jump abilities when reloading or some stupid things like those
@jacopomalatesta4913 Epic should hire you. I heard there was an upcoming mod that deals fire damage on hit, but that might have been scrapped. I could be wrong lol.
I think augments need to focus in help different kind of plays as classes in creative, when some few augments are objectively better or some are basic to survive something is wrong
5:51 Wild Wasp Weaponry was actually used a LOT in competitive Fortnite! Especially in endgame. What pros would do is just bet high ground, and use the wasps to pressure players below to get out of boxes (since Wild Wasps broke walls).
This chapter is crazy good, wrecked was divisive at first but now it's perfect thanks to the divided loot pools and reload. Chapter 5 is peak fortnite imo
I started playing in Ch4 S3 (only because they added Optimus Prime), and I can confidently say they were super fun. I personally liked how they promoted different playstyles like using the dinosaurs.
Funny how augments are not in games and then we have a whole season dominated by cars. I don’t think epic games removed augments for balance I think it did that cause it was sick of hearing people complain and to make money which was why players got fornite reload cause they don’t accept the game the way it is. In another game smash ultimate japan is the best region in the world cause they fight Steve and try to beat the character anyways even if it’s overpowered. That character builds whole stages with its blocks in a platform fighter which is why it’s the best character in that game.
I also wanted to say that one of the reasons this chapter is lower than 4 and the lack of augments even though weapon mods are cool they are soo simply and very repetitive , I rarely use some different modification because most of them are Really bad or don't change anything
Sorry dude just because some augments don't fit your gameplay style doesn't mean they were useless. A good example is the augment of receiving a balloon every time they jump, many used this one even though it was horrible
@kukublack I'm mainly talking about the majority of the playerbase. I could have definitely used a better word than useless. a lot of the augments I deem that way is just how the majority feels.
Fun fact: Augments were actually in Chapter 5 for the first performance evaluation cup of the season 1. This cup also included a change to minis, being able to only carry 4 instead of 6.
Just wanna point out it wasn’t just leakers who said augments would return there was a section for them and milestone quests to activate augments during the first season of chapter 5
It still hurts me now that chapter 5 didn’t get augments every single update in season 1 I checked to see if they were added yet and then season 2 came and they were not present 😢
Here is everything with the Augments Augments were added in ch4 s1 and new Augments got added in the season especially with the Most Wanted, then ch4 s2 came out and 7 new Augments got added and more came throughout the season and most Augments were useful, ch4 s3 came out and 7 new Augments were added at the start and Augments returned and there were more new Augments and Augments started getting bad in ch4 s3, then ch4 s4 came out introducing 6 new Augments and 12 Augments returned and more new Augments came back I'm sure one was Fortnite's 6th birthday and more Augments returned, then Fortnite OG came and Augments were completely removed as it makes sense and Fortnite OG was so good and so fun, then ch5 came out and Augments were supposed to come back and there was new Augments in the files and didn't release, then ch5 s2 and s3 came out and Augments haven't returned and were reworked into the Wastelander challenges
I think they should bring back Augments. Medallions feel like the Augment idea but way worse, straight upgrade and makes any engagement a 55/45 in your favor at best since its a one of a kind, mobility medallions are the strongest since sprint last six seconds due to them stupidly nerfing mobility at the player level, and just encourage ratting way more then the previous chapters since you can get a Mythic weapon and Medallion. Medallions should go away period in my opinion.
@@KingWafflezz Shield Medallions were the most balanced post nerf, you got a mythic weapon and a small shield regen that scales with more you own. 5 people can get them and the most they gave was 90 at 5 a second.
