The film was made in South Africa by South African film makers in 1976 under the title Karate Killers. The name was changed to Kill and be Killed to suit an American audience. James Ryan was a South African born actor. He was trained in martial arts. He again played in a later follow up called Kill and kill again. He was also involved in other enterprises regarding martial arts, but I do not know of any other martial arts films he made - even though he was very active in many other film and tv-series in several countries, he also wrote and directed films and tv.
This was the best show I remember how it was so funny how the main character's style was absolutely no style. He always looked like he had just woken up lol

Yeah it was a great series!!! Actually I believe the series went for just 2 seasons but one magical thing I did was crossover and converge all 16 Jake2.0 series with it to look like I-Man has 3 full seasons. Take a look when you can, Jake 2.0 had all the same elements that I-Man did. i even gave it all a proper closure to the end of Chrysalis and Arnoud Defern got captured by the Agency.

Chris Gorham played Jake Foley who had an accident during an international terrorist shootout in which millions of micro nanites entered his body giving him extraordinary super strengh powers. Jake then took on tough missions no ordinary agent could do. The series is available on dvd of all 16 eps from paramount and CBS.
I agree with you on the F150 I also thought it was ridiculous with a whole new story of KARR, they should of just stuck with his original past with classic Mike Knight and Kitt and he shouldn't of been a transformer robot. I still enjoyed this series so much more than TKR.

@@maczepa i have the nbc ones except for crown of thorns which was on sci-fi channel at the time. The other eps of NBC every now and then will show 2 ads cut off then go back to the program. Others play original ads all through.
