So there was a guy named Mykal Kilgore who was an original member from 1997-1999. He's featured in their song Just Sing and I think the guy you think is Earl is actually Mykal. I could be wrong but I've heard Just Sing and it sounds like him. Much love and respect
VoicePlay is actually the only acapella group I'll listen to besides a couple Home Free songs but it's mainly because I'm not a huge country music fan. I highly recommend you react to Valhalla Calling by these boys. It's beyond words insane. I love your reactions! Much love and respect
I'm not a huge Metallica fan but I absolutely adore their cover of Nothing Else Matters. I'm also not a Prince fan but, again, I absolutely love their version of Kiss. They turn any song they do into pure gold. These boys are not human and I can't get enough of them. Much love and respect.
I never got into GoT show either. My mother in law and sister in law did but it seemed pretty graphic to me and just not something that seemed interesting to me. Love your reactions. Much love and respect
I know exactly what it feels like to go through difficult medical things. I'm a heart disease and stroke survivor. Geoff and VoicePlay have helped me so much and I only just discovered them this past July. In fact, they've had such an impact on me that I'm using part of Geoff's Sixteen Tons and the record skip noise Layne makes between the Backstreet Boys song and NSYNC song during my routine for my first bodybuilding competition. I actually suggested a song to Geoff and he covered it. He's a really great guy. Much love and respect.
I'm not sure if you have but if you haven't I highly recommend watching their Little Mermaid Medley. That one will definitely make you laugh. And I love Ashley's, Layne's and Cesar's face when Geoff changed into Ashley's outfit. Absolutely love this group and your reactions! Much love and support

It's so funny! Each new person that sings, I think, "oh, he's my favorite!!" I'm glad that Austin is getting the attention, but Rob has a beautiful voice. And I'm a fool for a bassman. I'm also a fool for the rhythm section.... Gotta say, that subterranean low note on "blow my blues away" made every hair on my arms and neck stand at attention. They're stll standing.
Tim hits such a low note in “Folsom” that once I was literally startled and looked out my back window to make sure there wasn’t a grizzly bear in my backyard
How does one make the live sound better than the controlled studio you have almost infinite control nuances to tweak and refine with incredible refinements. Yet Home Free just blows our minds an does it right out there in front of everyone well it is a winner!! Probably eating the chicken dinner later, well heck they won it right?? 🐔 Totally Epic!!!. It is just plain fun to review and realize their gifts and talents are over the top extraordinary. This group can simply stand tall amongst the industry vocalist peers (groups and gifted vocalists). They bring about an excitement intrigue wondering what they will produce for us today, near future and the years to come. They are not bound by a particular genre and whatever they produce you know it is going to be quality. Home Free produces at a high level of integrity and always amazing the interpretation both vocally and visually with their video presentation. Every individual in their vocal group is significant top-notch performer and each draws out the very best in each other. Wasn't that great! Finally a professional live recording! This is one of my favorite medleys. Fan recordings on their phones can never clearly capture the true sound. So glad Home Free did this.
I have to agree with you. I’ve often found the phrase, less is more to be true. The true power of all their combined voices are really on display in the second version. But still, in general, these guys knocked it out of the park, in either version. Good reaction!
I love their live videos - the difference is that this one was professionally filmed rather than taken by an audience member on a device which might not be of the best quality. Regardless of the foregoing, the energy of their performances and the enthusiasm of the audiences is contagious.
I think this was filmed in Mankato. So it was their hometown crowd. The microphones were probably the same, but the audio was likely pulled from the sound board and then balanced in post production. When you hear it in concert it goes from the board to the speakers in the venue.
Definitely on my bucket list as soon as they come back to the Upstate of SC. I love ALL their music, and each one of them are beyond talented, excellent video, thank you for sharing.
No matter how comical a video is the harmonies, singing & beatboxing are always on point. BTW, the rooster lives on! In Home Free's "quarantine" series, when Austin is sitting next to a bookcase, it's on the 2nd shelf. (Apparently, he's a pack-rat after my own heart!). Keep falling down the rabbit hole - it's a great trip!
Home Free has loads of live videos. If you've had a hard day, I'd suggest either "Timeless with special dancer" or "Colder Memory Lapse". I guarantee that your face will hurt from smiling.
