Ive met Mike in the carabiean islands many years ago. Was a very fantastic funny and blessing guy to talk to. So sad to hear that he seems to be not alive on this earth anymore. God bless him.
This is awesome study. I was just reading some of the same passages last night. You're absolutely right in-church training must occur. Secondly, when Believers ignorantly place more value over another spiritual gifts, should not be. All spiritual gifts are valuable and equally important within the Body of Christ, which is composed of many parts. Teach on my Daughter, I'm with you. ❤ Oh, also please do a teaching on "dancing before the Lord." To my knowledge based upon my biblical studies, there is only this one passage which references such. Yet, as Believers this "shouting" as it's commonly called which is incorrectly exchanged as "dancing" has been lifted up from a small single passage and adopted as an accepted and expected church habit and or behavior. In my opinion , such behavior may fall into the same category of being disruptive and possibly out of order as it applies to worship. I guess what I'm saying is that when it comes to "dancing/shouting" before the Lord should also be done in order. We know that David did such in a celebratory manner after having returned victorious from war. Shouting, refers to the raising of ones voice as in yelling, whereas dancing involves movement of ones feet etc. Has the Body of Christ taken such out of context? I think it has. We are emotional beings, and I've seen a lot of emotionalism displayed within the church...to no end.
Please take a listen to this study I did on 1 Cor 14. I have heard many people use verses to talk about speaking in tongues, how prophecy is better and the preferred usage over tongues, and to down women, I can honestly say I have been seeking God in prayer about what was Paul's message and how can I better understand it. As I started my study, this was over years, on and off again, prayer, as I prayed and was studying the words poured out. Well when it came time to do the bible study, all that I had written was lost. I mean all of it, however, what the Holy Spirit had spoken to me was not gone and He gave me the strength and brought everything back to my memory, this is that account, and to this day I never got what I typed back. Gone in the cyber world forever, but this study is not. I thank God for relationship with Him. I will forever be in pursuit of God, going deeper.
