Train Sim TV which is hosted by Tom Harrison and Mark Walker aims to provide a variety of different Developer, Critic, Tutorial and fan videos as well as live streams along with real world content and other games from time to time.
As we both work with JT we will not be reviewing their content, as it wouldn't be a fair reflection due to our affiliation with them.

I tried all settings in TSW 5. I have no more popping up of objects coming nearer. The r.EyeAdaptationQuality=0 made my screen completely white however. The r.StaticMeshLODDistanceScale=0.5 produced 2:05 grass all over the tracks unfortunately. I omitted both for a perfect result.
In this game, there are no small shadows that add volume, there are no materials. It is not clear what is made of plastic and what is made of metal. One default material is used for everything. Even in the engine room there are no shadows. They just used a landscape HDR map. Even visibility of this map was not hidden and you can see it in the reflection at 12:09 🤦
i just bought the class 390 separately and it isn’t appearing for me when I go on the west coast main line, anyone know the fix for this or why it’s not showing ?
Hi! I have a technical question, can someone help me?! For the Bpmmz and Avmmz coaches, is there somewhere to turn on the lights manually inside the coach? Thank you!
I have not got train sim world 5yet on ps4 is not in the store is late on delivery on 17th September 12th September 2024 dovetail say the is could in the shop
I do like the sounds on the 350 but its the bugs and issues that let it down i do like the route but think that Dovetail Need to Stop the yearly games Changed my comment as i was not happy with it
I would like to see an up to date version of the GEML line which includes Stowmarket, Diss and Norwich. I would also like to see people on the platforms which the original version does not have.
Nah the route is fine itself in general. They could of taken it further but it would of taken a heck of a lot of time to develop more and the budget to make the route would be a lot more. You have to stop somewhere.. The pendo has 52 miles still plenty of drive time
I guess I've entered full grumpy old man phase because I remember when WCML South came out for TS Classic it went all the way to Birmingham, literally double the distance of this route. Granted the graphics in TSW are 10 times better but I can't help feeling we're paying more for less. At this rate the full WCML should be drivable by the time we get to TSW 75, so i hope my grandchildren enjoy driving it.
TSW budgets and costs to develop routes is totally different to making them on TS Classic. There is a heck of a lot more work involved to make a TSW route compared to TSC. Sure they went to brum on TSC but i think we got really lucky with that.. Plus lets be honest it didnt come fault free either. It had a hell of a lot wrong with it. Imagine if that was the case here for TSW if they did that..
Why does it only 'Expert' work on two routes? Forgetting the cab and the switches, how is it's 'flight model' as in aspects like engine power and braking performance, etc.?
It only came shipped to work on 2 route timetables. There are some timetable mods available from TS Community however which utilize the stock if you are a PC user :)
DTG should build the WCML & ECML in sections as separate DLC's. I don't think that anyone is expecting to run from Euston to Manchester in one trip. To maintain the same scenery spec you would need a very high end spec PC and consoles would never manage.
@@Robert.S459 sorry I meant by this giving us a route deom Birmingham to Manchester or stoke to Manchester it’s very diverse route with lots of different scenery and landscapes. Also have the northern stoke to Manchester route which is a great countryside route which then blends into the city.
The 390 sounds like the acela train in some parts if if spelt it right I wa s looking forward to this after I watched the stream and red ppls comments I bought it part of me is like get a refund
This is a great route, although as we know should of been made a bit longer than this. The thing that bugs me is the timetables, so much missing that needs fixing to bring this much more alive but it is a good route.
I've been poking around the PC Editor for the past month or so, the laying of catenary is actually an automatic process as far as I understand it. So they should be able to fix it relatively quickly instead of having to relay miles of catenary by hand.
I do like not seeing the track suddenly appearing in front of me. Like Gromit was laying it as we trundle along. So that is a vast improvement. Though let's be honest DTG should patch all the existing versions. to fix this. Will get the core update. Maybe get this Route around Easter/Summer sale, next year. See what else gets released in the meantime.
Given it's the WCMLs, and DTG would have known people were going to go over it with a fine tooth comb, especially since it ends at Milton Keynes, they made some (silly) shortcuts again, even admitting it before release. I really think we need a change of management at DTG as it's clear to see that "sloppy is acceptable".
Lets just hope mistakes have been noticed and will be acted on for future routes. The route itself is not an issue in my opinion, its visually a nice drive. A few areas on the old bakerloo need a bit of foliage applying but it does not detract from the general gameplay. The issue lies in the timetable mainly but said that, ive not had a boring experience..
@@TrainSim_TVHave to say, I completely disagree. There is a lot wrong with this route in terms of the scenery & I’m quite surprised you’re saying it’s ok in your opinion. It’s every bit as bad as Fife Circle, if not worse.
Sounds of the 390 are not the best, but that’s my opinion - I’m sure the community will bring out a sound mod or something for it in the near distant future. The model looks fantastic though, give credit where credit is due. Overall looks decent, looking forward to picking it up.
There annoyingly has been a sound mod made available the morning after i recorded the video! I will be covering this on a new video. The mod is available here for PC users: www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c20-sounds/i5223-class-390-sound-mod
i wonder what the already stuttering frame rate would be like with this new expert loco ... i wonder if the stuttering is improved in TSW5 ... i saw no mention of it in the latest roadmap by DTG
Wow, I've learned a lot from these two episodes! Thank you so much. However, now I'm stuck at the TAB request signal also. Have you found a solution for this? Very eager to find out about this!
Love this video I remember Fred and Geoff as I work on Clan Line Fred's now the Traction Inspector Geoff has retired but it's nice to see the King loco I might get it eventually not sure yet
I live at seaton and the detail is fantastic warners is long gone replaced with a tesco super store and a housing estate and luxury flats on the sea frount this is like going back in time brilliant
Are there any videos of train simulators from the Victorian era in England please? One of my 2x greats died in 1885. He lived in Lincoln, and was an engine driver for the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway Company. Thank you.
