At those times the wedding bouquet was to cover the stink of the woman...also all big events were hold in gardens so the smell wont be felt that strong

There is at least one instance of a guy firing an arrow up one of those and hitting somebody in the bung , so they started building them with sharp angles to prevent anyone from having a strait shot .

Sadly it's been almost 10 years since I played age of empires 2, age of kings, I did play for hours a day for years in my 20s, who was the Georgians and Armenian? My favorite was the British long bowman, paired with a trebuchet and a few knights.
Are you familiar with the Millenaire mod? It adds custom villages where they construct and upgrade their houses. Only downside is that it's only up to 1.12. Would lovee to see your take on a building in that style.
