I know I usually talk fast already but I'm talking at lightning speed together cause I had fried chicken take-out sitting on my desk waiting to be eaten!
The light novels actually explain what the characters are thinking and how game mechanics work, as well as world building. Meaning instead of Kirito yelling and stuff happening, you'll know exactly what he's doing and why. Alicization light novels are significantly better than the anime. Same for Progressive The novels are pretty heavy on inner monologues and world building, which the anime just axes entirely. About the only thing it does better is putting Aincrad in order. Alicization also suffers from some pretty significant content cuts, and WoU specifically makes some changes I do not even remotely enjoy. It's a really mediocre adaptation at the end of the day.
nice vid! it's nice to see people enjoying video games when they don't normally engage with them. In case you haven't played it, a new moominvalley game actually released earlier this year and it leans even harder into the storybook vibes. it's called Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. also another really cute game is "a short hike," big recommend!
Omg yesss I downloaded the Sunfkin game on my Switch! So excited to play~ and i have a short hike on my wishlist too ^^ thank you for your recommendations!
I AM IN AWE OF THE IMMENSE VERSATILITY OF PARK EUN BIN. GOD HAS BESTOWED HER WITH OVERWHELMING GIFTS WHICH PLACES HER WAY ABOVE THE SPECTRUM OF A MULTI TALENTED WOMAN IN THE SCREEN, SINGER N MUSICIAN. SHE HAS NO EQUAL.❤❤❤
It’s funny how you mentioned that you were getting into digital marketing because I’m also doing the same thing 😂 Right now i’m taking an online course and i want to start looking for internships/entry-level jobs after I’m done. Good luck with your new job!
I also fell in love with the story because of Rishe! I recommend 100% reading the light novels, you get even more in depth with the world building, Rishe’s past lives and other characters. I flew through them because they were so good
This was my favourite k drama last year I watched with my family. Such I good story I got everything I wanted out of this show. I loved every characters in this drama.
I went on vacation for a week and then collapsed from exhaustion, but now I'm back! Plus I'm testing out a new mic, and as always, lighting is a wild ride as I film throughout the afternoon... ANYWAYS enjoy the video! ^^
Horimiya is the best and I started Tomo-chan is a girl but I am not finished yet. I loved Wotakoi so much I wish there was more. Amazing recommendations.
Cute video! I really like your editing style!! What's your favorite shoujo? A fifth category I would add, is action/fantasy shoujo starring male protagonists. It's a much more niche category compared to the others you listed, and in a lot of ways is a more introspective/emotional/feminine take on tropes in classic battle shounen or gritty seinen. The male protagonists in these shoujo are typically a little softer and sweeter, or have elements that make them more relatable to a female audience (though these shows can still get pretty dark). Some shoujo that fall under this category are Banana Fish, Natsume's Book of Friends, Laughing Under the Clouds, Hakkenden, Kyo Kara Maoh, Children of the Whales, DNAngel, and Himitsu Top Secret. I do want to mention that a few of the romance shows you listed are either shounen or seinen: Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie, Tomo-chan is a Girl, Komi Can't Communicate, and Kaguya-sama Love is War all fall under either shounen or seinen XD
Thank you so much for watching! My favorite shojo series is STILL Strobe Edge after so many years >< im still hoping that they get an anime hahah And youre right some of these shows are labelled for more mature audiences but there are definitely shojo elements sprinkled around those stories :P
