I'm aiming for a late November/early December release for it, so it's a bit away, but I'm considering releasing it as a premiere here on RU-vid so that it can be a shared experience. It’s not. It’s a full sequel. Miles Morales was also not advertised as a full length sequel, but rather a shorter experience in between full length titles.

I'm struck by the fact that we've had four years of this generation and not a single PlayStation Studios game has made me think, "Yes, this is next-gen." Now, don't get me wrong, this new Ghost of looks excellent; it’s clear the graphics engine has been updated or improved, as the landscapes and the map feel much more expansive and grand. It really gives the impression that we're in Japan, not just on Tsushima Island-especially the volcano shown in the trailer, which looks quite impressive. However, graphically, it looks very, very similar to Ghost of Tsushima, and that's the only thing that concerns me. If they manage to improve what needed improvement from the first game, like the cities or NPC behavior, it will be a gem. The good thing is it’s coming out next year. I might eat my words when we see pure gameplay lol.
It does look graphically similar to Ghost of Tsushima, and while I get the concern, I also don’t think it’s something to be too worried about. Yes there aren’t too many major noticeable improvements, but the game is also still in development, so more are bound to appear. Also, Ghost of Tsushima’s strongest aspect graphically was its art direction and lighting, areas that are clearly shining bright here. Ghost of Yotei is going to be a looker and I can’t wait to enjoy it.
For me, the price isn’t the issue; what was truly problematic was that they presented the console by showing how it could better run games from 4 or 5 years ago. If the presentation had also included announcements of new games to accompany the PS5 Pro launch, the outcome would have been different. Yes, the price is high, and people would have complained about it as they are now, but the community's response would have been much more positive if they had showcased new games that truly pushed the PS5 Pro’s capabilities. Personally, I’ll buy it, but only when GTA 6 is approaching or Sony announces something very big, excelent video as allways my brosky
Yes, the lack of any new games to accompany the announcement is a big miss. To be fair, I wouldn’t expect a new announcement or reveal in a 9-minute video detailing the new console, but it would still do more for Sony’s case than showing TLOU again. For that reason, I feel like Sony has to show new first-party games SOON to give people a reason to be interested in the Pro.

If Sony and Microsoft are both gonna be done with exclusivity with there consoles. I wonder if Nintendo would do this. I know they always have been old school but we truly may never know
Nintendo is the odd one out because they tend to march to the beat of their own drum. We never hear stories about their games being plagued with financial issues and their IP are so strong and valuable (more-so than Sony’s for sure) that they know people will buy their hardware for them. Unless things go south for them or they just decide to be very generous, I don’t see them changing their strategy regarding exclusives any time soon, if at all.
Oh if you have the collection then definitely go through everything in it first before playing KH3! Especially if it’s your first time going through the series. Trust me, you can’t go straight to KH3 without experiencing the games that came after KH2
@@TheComfySpotVids I've played 1 and 2 along with about half of 358 days. Dream Drop Distance and Birth by Sleep will be new to me. Gonna start the KH whole series run after Chrono Trigger and Cross.
you oughta get a better camera (or perhaps it's just the lighting that is bad), but the mic is good (at least to my ears) and in general i think the video is pretty good.
I think it’s a case of the lighting. Where I sit is in front of a window, and I had the shutters mostly closed, but not entirely, so that’d be why I look a bit bright. I should’ve gone with my instinct and just closed it entirely and used my ring light. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the warm welcome! After SGF season I was head down on my KH2 video, jumped right into BBS, and then went on vacation, so my mind has been preoccupied for a bit. Hopefully now I’ll be able to be back with some videos on a fairly regular basis.
When it comes to kingdom heart 2 it ok it not my favorite games in the series but it alright and i never understood the hype for 2 Maybe it just me but i hate both the drive from and key blade transformation they make Kingdom both there respective game a complete joke
Great job on those platinums! It looks like you’re going in story order for your revisit. I’ve never done that, so it must be an interesting experience.
I've been replaying the series, since I've piecemeal played it and wanna get the story altogether in basically one go since I got all of 'em on Steam and... Much as I remember loving KH 2, I feel like 1 did SO MUCH BETTER with the general world exploration, and the various worlds feel less fillerey than in KH2. Don't get me wrong, KH 2 is still a great game, but the longer I play it, the more I feel like they kinda dropped the ball in a lot of aspects compared to KH1
Yeah, I feel the same way about the worlds in KH1. They really excelled at making it feel like you were actually exploring them in comparison to how they are in KH2. I also get what you mean about them feeling like filler in KH2 since they don’t have much importance or relevance to the main narrative. KH2 is still great though!
@@TheComfySpotVids oh yeah, it is still great, but Ill know where I stand fully once I get through BBS again, then DDD for the first time, and crack open KH3 for the first time. After I finish Dawntrail and some FF XIV grinds though, the new expansion is great!
Oh you never played DDD or KH3? I’m excited to see what you think of them then! I’m a bit behind schedule, but I’m trying to have my video on BBS out in August, DDD in September/early October, and then KH3 by mid-December. Let’s compare notes when they release! Also, have fun with Dawntrail! I’m not a FF XIV player, but it looks cool!
@@TheComfySpotVids I vaguely know that theres been huge complaints about both games, but they are in the same vein as the major complaint about Dawntrail. Dawntrails is "We arent the main character", but in world, from the destruction of the Ultima Weapon, through to the cessassion of a thousand year war between elves and dragons, the slaying of one of the First Brood of the dragons, to initiating and closing a war on two fronts against a major military power, to jumping to and saving an alternate reality twice, then coming back and travelling to the edge of existance to strike down the Avatar of Nihilism, that has been like 2 to 3 months. Dawntrail is the expansion where we are a side character to a race of the Rite of Sucession, and were mostly travelling and interacting with worldbuilding aspects, and I love it. The complaints Ive seen about KH3 being "worse than two" and DDD having some archaic or restriction issue dont ring as truthful to me, especially after re playing 2 and finding myself far enjoying 1s exploration and worldbuilding.
I get some complaints people have with DDD and KH3, but I don’t agree with the vast majority of them. I’m most interested in returning to DDD since I’ve only played it twice (once in 2012 and once in 2016) and have no major thoughts/opinions on it because of that.

Haha thanks! I understand people not being hot on Concord, but at the same time I don’t think it’s fair to automatically write it off right now without playing it. I wish this was a more common take, but sadly it’s not.
I dont want a showcase this year... They have nothing ready it will be alot of cgi trailers and shit. Just make a state of play and show of the ps5 pro and move on.
I've seen some people mention Persona 6 but I don't see that happening at all until Metaphor ReFantazio has released. Announcing P6 before that comes out would just take all eyes off of Metaphor which would be a bad move. Remakes of Lost Odyssey and Phantom Dust are great dream announcements, especially Lost Odyssey! People talk about it a lot as a great JRPG for the 360 so it would be cool to see it return in some way. Phantom Dust would be a funny case though since Microsoft already announced and canceled a reboot of that series during the Xbox One generation haha.
I think one will be happening. I’ve long thought that it’ll be the last week of May/the start of June. Essentially, before the next expansion for Destiny 2 which would almost certainly be there. I did a whole video with my predictions for a PS Showcase, so check it out if you haven’t already.
My prediction Xbox acquires FromSoftware Xbox acquires valve And finally Xbox Acquires Square ENIX Bethesda shows Doom year zero releases early 2025 Starfield shattered space expansion gets a late August or early September release date. Creation kit 2 is available now for starfield Fable gameplay trailer and release year announcement New forza horizon game announcement and release date announcement Bethesda announces fallout 3 remaster releasing in October. Indiana Jones gameplay and release date announcement. Gears 6 announcement. ID Software announces their next game after doom year zero will be Mandalorian based game.
I definitely agree on Perfect Dark! It’s about time that we see something substantial for it. Quake is a good pull that I definitely forgot about! I feel like there were rumors as recently as last year about a new Quake, so perhaps that could appear if it’s real and ready to be shown.
I hate to be a party pooper, but I wouldn’t expect to hear anything concrete for at least 1-2 years. You’ll probably be waiting a bit longer unfortunately
I think we'll see some First Party games that in a press release after the fact will reveal they're also releasing on Playstation. More specifically, I'm hopeful for Fable and a Gears of War remaster collection.
Xbox needs to really deliver quality this time, good games with GAMEPLAY and please at least release Windows like Perfect Dark? Like is gonna launch in fknn 2029?
Last year’s showcase was pretty great if I remember it correctly! But something like Fable needs gameplay or at least a trailer that shows gameplay (similar to the Avowed trailer from last year). As for release windows, if the game isn’t coming out next year, I don’t expect to get a release window. But for something like Perfect Dark, they may still want to show it as a sign of life for it.
That’s a good prediction! Honestly I have no idea what they could be working on. I think the wording they used when they last talked about it was cagey enough to leave us wondering if it was another remake or an original game.
Im gettimg out my PlayStation fan mode i own a series x and ps5 slim and hate to say xbox is killing it all three day one games granted some are trash but same goes for ps im a big call of duty fan and if that goes gamepass day one im all in hell even if i have to pay theres ge key sites for xbox ill never pay full price for any game on pc or xbox wish they made them sites for sony
Lower your expectations because if Sony wasn't afraid to give that pathetic showcase last year don't think they wouldn't do it again especially with no competition. 👀 I think people are highly underestimating how bad thing's are gonna get going forward with gaming. Sony is definitely gonna deliver more disgusting practices going forward because theirs no one to stop them. Their only competition is us the consumer, but not enough of us vote with our wallet and that's another reason why they will continue to whatever they want. 👀
