When I was a kid that were showing second run Bowery Boys movies on Saturdays at the palace. Well they ran out of popcorn, so me and my friends just want to cross the street to the Los Angeles theater and got popcorn. When we came back in the palace one of the ushers took a popcorn away from us cuz they said they can tell we bought it elsewhere. In other words no outside food or drinks
I love the movie "A Bronx Tale" I've watched it a dozen times and I never get tired of it. I love Sonny's test explaining it to C. My favorite scene is to see her unlock the car door on his side. 😘
The production is larger than life and deeply moving. It is both entertaining and culturally informative. BTW, it is worth every penny spent. I would recommend Shen Yun to everyone. Peace through strength, knowledge, love, and faith.
Wonderful actor. My dad had a drug inserted into his drink in a bar in Chicago by a boss with his two body guards. My dad couldn`t play his guitar on the show and asked what they put in his drink. The boss laughed and said black beauty. My dad, being one of the meanest Irish red head in the Midwest, knocked him off his chair. The two bodyguards came at my dad and he knocked both of the big men out. The boss put a contract on my dad and that was the last day I saw my dad for many years as he said he had to leave. Told by several people at the bar. To show how small the world is, several of my friends were cousins to that mob boss. And we were, still are, like brothers. My dad went to North Carolina and I only saw him several times through the years until he died from emphysema.
@roderickstockdale1678 sounds like dad later came back into his life after disappearing for many years. Then explained his fatherly absence with this story of being on the run... but it was a joke anyway 😂🤷
The journey to the Merrium Theater, Phila was an oddesy. The theater location though fine was the worst theater I have ever visited. A tiny lobby dated in décor, toilets poorly situated. It was a blast from the past of undeniably bad experiences. The show was sold out and we had the expensive seats 2nd row from the Orchestra pit. The seats were probable designed during the depression of 1930"s, meant for emaciated patrons. I could just squeeze one butt cheek in. this left me with a sore neck & back . The show started on time and comprised of 15-20 min anecdotal troche's, well choreographed but repetitious. The male MC could have taken the trouble to dress better than the shabby outfit he had on. The female Chinese presenter was beautifully turned out with poise & dignity. The costumes were colorful. the dancers were excellent but the stage & back drop left much to be desired, over all the experience one endured as an adult was memorable for its discomfort, but certainly an experience one could look forward to as a child .

My heart wants to beat like the wings of the birds That rise from the lake to the trees My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies From a church on a breeze To laugh like a brook when it trips and falls over Stones on its way To sing through the night like a lark who is learning to pray I go to the hills when my heart is lonely I know I will hear what I've heard before My heart will be blessed with the sound of music And I'll sing once more
