quick question...when trying to starting the vm, the setup process completely bypasses the actual setup process, not allowing me to choose which type of experience I want. The windows logo appears with the loading wheel underneath, then the window that prompts boot settings appears, then the windows logo reappears with the loading wheel underneath, and then it promptly goes straight to command-line. The options to choose desktop experience never shows up once and the option to change from core interface to GUI was removed since server 2016. How on earth do I change this?
Switch stacking is a networking technique that involves connecting multiple switches together to form a single logical unit. This process simplifies network management and allows network administrators to manage multiple switches as if they were a single device. By stacking switches, network administrators can improve the overall performance of the network by increasing bandwidth and improving redundancy. Switch stacking works by connecting the switches together using specialized cables and software, which enables them to communicate with each other and share resources. When switches are stacked, they share a single management interface, which simplifies network management and eases the burden of configuring and monitoring the network. In addition to simplifying network management, switch stacking also provides several other benefits. For example, it allows network administrators to add new switches to the network without disrupting the existing network infrastructure. This is because the new switch can be added to the stack, and it will automatically be configured to work with the existing switches. Switch stacking also provides increased redundancy. If one switch fails, the other switches in the stack can continue to function without interruption. This is because the switches are designed to be hot-swappable, which means that they can be removed and replaced without disrupting the network. Overall, switch stacking is a powerful networking technique that can be used to improve network performance and simplify network management. By connecting multiple switches together to form a single logical unit, network administrators can create a more efficient and reliable network infrastructure. I dont know why but Im missing all the Active Directory tools in my VM, namely the Active Directory Users and Computers, which I really need. Any tips?
Glad to help! A double-colon represents all remaining quartets if they are all zeroes. For example: at 1:26 in the video, you could place a double-colon after the quartet that has the A in it.
In my case, the Close Virtual Machine box didn't come up. The installation went right back to "Setup is starting" after clicking OK in the Windows Setup window. Going to Devices > Floppy Drive > Remove disk from Virtual File did the trick to get me out of this infinite loop.
