@@almedinfilms8390 I have problem because on Skyrim VR (moded) its set automatically to 140% and fps is very bad. And i cant figure how to set it up to 100%. When i play with Rift S direcly from Display port its fine.
The tape trick was a lifesaver. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to get the strap through that little space, but the tape made it such a cinch. My daughter loves her Kiwi headstrap for the Quest 2, so when we bought her a Quest 3 for her birthday, I knew a Kiwi strap for the Quest 3 was in our future. Thank you for taking the time to make this!
Amazing. Exactly what I wanted. I'm surprised this video doesn't have more views, and those stands are still in stock. I saw your video on Saturday and placed an Amazon order (Europe) for 2 stands, double-sided tape, and a couple of USB hubs. Just set it up properly with some zip ties... I now have one cable for the triple unit and a beautiful radio panel + a RADIO/MULTI/SWITCH panel. It looks really slick on my desk, and I can put it away easily. It doesn't move, or it moves very slightly when pushing the white button on the radio panel, but then you hold it from behind without even thinking about it, and it stays in place. This really looks so good. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for your video. How do you get more than 2000 Mbps in 5 GHz.?I only get 866 Mbps with my WiFi 5 router shown in the overlay 😮Or is 866 Mbps enough? With your settings I get a good picture quality with my 3080ti
that tape trick is magic and makes one think why didn't Kiwi have something like that on the headstrap to start with...thanks for that, I will drink a beer for you
You don't need tape to insert the strap, just wiggle it from side to side while pushing forward and it will go straight through like a hot knife through butter. Trust me, it's the easiest thing!
Good Video and now a comfortable headset but the unit no longer charges in my ridiculously overpriced Dock. The whole thing is a complete sham with rubbish battery life as an extra.
Wow! Thank you so much for this clear and helpful video. The tape trick worked great and saved a lot of time and frustration. I really appreciate you and this video. Thanks!!!
Since the creator did not tell us the correct product name, its: Lift recliner VONSILD lift function electric light grey (or in german: Aufstehsessel VONSILD mit Aufstehhilfe elektrisch hellgrau).
The best review I could have asked for no one seems to show the way they function like this! Helps me decide where to start on pedals as I have been trying without pedals which has proven rough.
@@almedinfilms8390 Got it, i have axe5400 - wifi6e router. And have Quest 3 exclusively on SSID with 6ghz wifi6e, still getting some stuttering... rest of the devices are on 5g / 2.4g... not sure what the issue is. maybe some bug with AX protocol. Alot of ppl report it.
That tape trick is mad good, if you don't have tape handy, you can use that sticker that says "pay attention to L and R" that is attached to the head strap, worked like a charm
Well, to be honest, so many routers can pull steady 200 Mbps, so I'm not sure why even go for expensive AX5400 for that. I picked this router to do 500 Mbps h264+ and so far so good, but if I only needed 200 Mbps I'd just stay with some basic AX1800.
I have almost zero knowledge about routers so I wanted to ask, why does everyone suggest wifi6e when this router is supposedly good enough for wireless?
@@suparibhau exactly, my reply to you got deleted. TLDR wifi 6e is needed only if regular 5 GHz band is full or you don't know how to setup the router and just brute force the issue instead. Apparently YT deletes any social media references. Try "disk cord" of VD, there is a list of routers, and those recommendations are given to withstand 500 Mbps, not a measly 200 Mbps. Most of AX5400 routers on Qualcomm processor will do 500 Mbps in VD. And any AX1800 will do 200 like in this video. And those who really want the best networking for simulators are just buying ethernet to type C gigabit adapters, they work with Quest 3 (the ones on Realtek chips).
@@mikaelkarlsson8969 great! planning on buying it somewhere in the future, i have a markus chair from ikea right now and it's pretty uncomfortable for me
So is this router plugged into another router in your house? I just can't get a good connection in the room I use my vr headset. I've tried WiFi extenders but they just shit. My pc hard wired so could I just plud another router in and use this in the same room as my setup?
Thank you for this demo and analysis. This is almost exactly my use case. For this price bracket, I'd rather have a stable router with thoughtfully designed firmware (Asus rt-ax58u) than the latest wifi standard (TP-Link axe5400) so long as the latency and image quality are good enough for the Quest 3.
Just got my Quest 3 in today and was struggling with getting it to look good and also run good. These settings are perfect. The only thing I did (which I'm not sure if it matters) is in the meta quest link softwarei changed the resolution and refresh rate of the device to be 90hz. I'm guessing it needed to match the settings in virtual desktop so it was a smooth half frame (45hz). So far it's working flawlessly I don't plan on going to very populated areas so not sure what i'll get in a place like new york city. I'll mainly be out in the bush exploring and sightseeing. Thank you for this guide. After 3 or so hours of messing with it and trying different things this guide put me in the right direction.
Hi, Thank you for this Video, I've started Flight Simulator VR from the begining with Quest 2 + RTX 2080Ti, then I moved to HP Reverb G2 + RTX 3080 for better quality and performance. Now that the HP Reverb G2 is going end of life with WMR I was thinking going to the Quest 3!
