Does it matter who teaches? God can use anyone. People question women as teachers and yet they can’t teach or be a leader. God calls who He wants. Instead of questioning who the message is from We should focus on our relationship with God.
Thank you Pastor Shawn and the entire Willow teaching team for the way you have walked with our church through these difficult topics. The message is very clear: God loves us.

I don't think sin is something you do. We are not the things we do. Sin is a sickness that lives in all of our hearts until we accept Jesus Christ. When we do that then He will come inside of our hearts and sin cannot live there anymore. We cannot serve two masters 🙏
We christians we oftenly want to talk about JESUS CHRIST but we don't want to put into practice aHIS teachings, women of ALMIGHTY GOD need to put on decent when doing ministers, preaching in public not that way you put on, Christianity is not doing what you want and saying what JESUS said, Christianity involves both faith and action Doing what JESUS CHRIST emphasied from the rules and commandments of ALMIGHTY GOD and also teachings others the truth of the good news life after death stop misleading other people
It's amazing how God uses lives to touch and impact other lives. I clearly remember the impact that Megan's teaching on one particular night had on me and how it has changed the trajectory of my life and brought me into more intimate fellowship with God. I remember coming to church feeling very despondent and hopeless to the point where I had a plan to do harm to myself that night. But I still went to church. In her message, Megan talked about the Gospel being good news as well as our identities in God. When I left church that night, even though my problems were still there, I knew that something had changed dramatically and I moved in a different direction from where I was heading. Had I not listened to the prompting to go to church and had Megan not talked about hope and good news and our identity, my story would have been a lot different and I probably wouldn't be writing this. It is such an amazing blessing to have teachers that are so real and so honest and so committed to the love and grace and truth of Jesus Christ to help lead us into more intimate fellowship with God.
Head pastor Albert Tate used CHURCH FUNDS in a manner that effectively, and consequentially, hid secrets, or bought time to hide secrets. Specifically, the fact that he had cheated on his wife. He possibly gave up to six figures in CHURCH FUNDS to people like Scott, a financial manager and advisor from Saddle Back Church, and similarly Michael, another lead pastor. He received pretty much no punishment from the board of advisors, a petty consequence at best, and the board originally voted to hide the affair from the congregation long before all of this came to light about a year later. Michael and Scott took the money, claimed to be moving on to better things, and didn’t say a word to any of us as they went their separate ways. Apparently they knew what he did before all of us because previous board members that disagreed with the decision to hide the affair started speaking out. God bless them. Just because you say it isn’t hush money doesn’t make it so. Just because I say it’s hush money doesn’t make it so. Just look at what Michael and Scott did, and how they did it Tate. Also, ever since your admission, Tate, you weaponize scripture for your own benefit featuring themes like forgiveness and judgment while you yourself are still head pastor. Atrocious. People deserve forgiveness, but also consequences for their actions, including you Tate.
