Lol senatla thought he was gone than lutumailagi sped up and immediately caught him lol. Senatla is definitely fast don't get him wrong but he is not top tier. People just assume he is top 3 fastest player just because he gets a lot of tries but that's not the case. Remember this is lutumailagi when is already way passed his prime yet he still has the speed to outpace senatla who is already in his prime. This just proves my point even more when you realize lutumailagi isn't even in the top 10 fastest Fijian players ever.
My opinion is from when I started watching rugby in 1999. I agree with everything you have said except for the "top 10" statement. He would be there comfortably. The only player of the modern era who could match him is Alapati Ratu Raitini. Vunibaka and Bobo were slightly quicker with a prime(2001) Caucau up there also. Fero and Delasau were also rapid. I say this because Caucau was the 3rd quickest in the 2003 Fiji squad. All they said was Vunibaka was the quickest after sprint tests (Delasau was most probably number 2). No one else comes close. Not Naduva and definitely not Viriviri. Well that is my opinion.. Quickest I have seen on the circuit South Africa- Jongi Nokwe, Tonderai Chavhanga, Alshaun Bock, Paul Jordaan, Brent Russell & Danwell Demas New Zealand- Sosene Anesi, Waqaseduadua, Rokocoko, Sherwin Stowers, Cullen, Randle Australia- Rod Davies, Trae Williams, Dietrich Roache England- Tom Varndell, Dan Luger, Ian Balshaw, Norton, Matt Turner, Richard Haughton, Matt Tait Wales- Alex Cuthbert, Tom Prydie Ireland- Jordan Conroy Scotland- James Fleming, Tom Evans Zimbabwe- Wes Mbanje & Lloyd Makwati Kenya- Sidney Ashioya & Injera USA- Taku Ngwenya, Isles, Baker Samoa- Paul Perez, Pesamino, Fa'atau, Lemi, Toloa, Tom Iosefo Fiji- Vunibaka, Bobo, Raitini, Fero, Caucau, Delasau, Lutumailagi
Rupeni Nasiga is a Leone Nakarawas breed of version.Unlucky he was just capped 3 times for the Flying Fijians..But hes 35 now maybe too lates for callups but he was a tall secondrow in Fijian Rugby history.Hes now playing local provincial rugby competition..
no he play a lot sevens before 2012 but he got a big neck injury , he went to vannes in prod2 last year and now he still looking for a new club . currently in fiji
