Hello, i have recently had some issues with my vitus sentier, the rear hub on it has fully gone, the point on engagements have all gone and it has only been 10 months of owning it, is there anything vitus can do about it
I rode a black and silver vitus 797 in the early 90's for a while. The lugged aluminum wonder, not. That thing was the most flexi frame i have ever riddden. Worse than an alan of that same era. I think i had it for one seaon only. That frame is the only one i have ever ridden in my entire life that developed the wobbles when going fast. It was scary. The front end would start violently shaking back and forth. Scary. I got rid of that as fast as i could. I ended up getting one of the first specialized Allez carbon. The lugged ones. Carbon tubes with aluminum lugs bonded onto the tubes. I had that one for about 5 years. Nice bike that. Hearing Vitus just brings back really bad memories.
Where can I get one now that the two exclusive retailers (Wiggle and Chainreaction) aren't listing Vitus bikes any longer? This is a serious question which I would like an answer to as the e-Sentier is my number one option on a much researched short-list of three.
Looked around a lot for a hardtail with the e motor benefits, really needing the e power to keep me on track these days so decided to go for this beauty. Generally was sold from this video and looking forward to a new experience on my MTB trails. Well done.

Got one for Christmas and found some jumps nearby a few weeks ago but just broke my arm and can’t ride it for 8 weeks and it’s such a good bike aswell😭

It's such a shame Wiggle and Chain Reaction have gone into Administration as I'd really love to buy one of these bikes. Will Vitus be looking for another supplier in the U.K.?😥
I am also waiting for an update here. Nukeproof has launched new products recently but around Vitus it’s dead quiet. Would be great to get some feedback
I have got a reply from Andrew at Vitus bikes who tells me that they have also gone into Administration. However, he did also say it’s still business as usual. Personally I cannot to take such a big risk. But appreciate his honesty.
Thanks for the info. I don’t mind working on the mechanical parts but frame and motor wise I also would like to know that the manufacturer is still there. A shame as the package looks great
sweet bike, good to see the artist was able to figure out how to incorporate the new boxer look with the bike. But what happend to the sweet hammer-tone hubs, that were on that bike?????
