When I was young the Grandview speedway Firecracker 40 was a late model race. And should still be. I know. Grandview speedway hates late models. They have for a long time.

In the many years that I went to races at Grandview speedway I have never seen the stands so empty on a Saturday night. I suspect that people don’t want to pay or can’t afford to pay a fortune to see just modifieds all night. This is a good way to get the track closed for ever. Which nearly happened two years ago.

What was the total car count for the show.
