I found it in our company warehouse. I believe it was made for a sand or bead blaster? So I wish I could take credit but I'm guessing you can buy these. With stand.
You have some cool slingshots I see you carry there we have been open carry here in Ohio for years now we can also conceal carry they passed a while back with no permit i always carry everywhere if not on me I have one in the car. Those are some nice shirts I just ordered 2 slingshots Thursday from a place in North Carolina called simple shot they arrived today when I get home I'm going to try them out the sport is new to me i should catch on quick it looks similar to traditional bow shooting. How are you doing you camra if you don't mind me asking do you have two or is it a mirror setup on the target and you? Great shooting brother 👍👊
I've met Nathan Masters the owner of simple shot. Great guy and he's got some nice frames. It's open carry state here but still need a permit to conceal. I prefer open for a few different reasons. Don't quit your day job to sell T shirts 🤣 Haven't been at it long but it's a little tough getting people to order. If you can shoot a bow or gun you'll do great. It's just a split option on my phone with the camera. And I don't have a very expensive phone so you probably have the same option. The shooting was so, so. I've done much better but you have them days. Especially when you turn on the camera. 😁 BTW, if you notice I'm using cross draw. I have a video on the channel explaining why I find it better than straight draw. Check it out brother 👍😎
@@TrevcatCarroll-iv3te I will check that video out on cross draw & yeah he seems like a very good person in the videos i have watched on their RU-vid channel Simple Shot that is one reason why I decided to order from there very good at explaining step by step videos also. Direct me to your website for a shirt
@@jcismysavior9126 I'm not sure how to share the link here on the shirts? I guess you can go to printify and look up Sling Trauma merchandise. That's the store name bro. You can look me up on Facebook if you want. I have posted the link there a few times recently. Trevor Carroll. BTW, JC is my savior also
@@Slingburger3653 yeah man! Great people and going to a tournament and meeting them is awesome! Strangers when you get there best friends when you leave 😎 We all stay in touch now. And what's really cool is when some of the pros do a video wearing our shirt! ❤️
Great Review of a great Original Slingshot Verily Appreciated from London EN GELDED LAND THE DISUNITED KINGDOM . T C .. Love the P J . I've had mine about ten years still as good as new . I'm now going to ask my Granddaughter to work her Artistic Magic on Brightening it up . ..
I am trying three slingshots from Amazon, plus I just got this one today, direct from Saunders. It looks like the most powerful and durable. My questions are why do you prefer the 3/8 and 7/16? Even if you prefer that size, wouldn't the original bands work just as good or better than what you set up? I am brand new to slingshots, I am trying to learn from your strategy...
From Amazon, I got a couple of the cheap basic metal slingshots, for fun. I also got the HandBaige HBG, the reviews were half love, half hate. It kind of seems like a compound slingshot, with the springs. So, I am playing with different ones. For the Saunders, the pouch is molded for holding the pellet correctly with two fingers or knuckle. I think the Saunders will have the most power, and I like how it folds onto a case. And, just as important, American made by real people !!!
Thank you for explaining about the Saunders X Pro. I've been looking and comparing, mostly looking at everything on Amazon. I was confused, so I started looking for serious reviews from people who have used several models. I thought this one sounded right, but I didn't understand what made it special until you explained it. I want a great slingshot, not a ching chang toy, and Saunders is Made in the USA. I think the Pro X will be a durable and accurate slingshot, one that I will keep and use. No version of this on Amazon, they do have a couple of Saunders, but everything else is Chinese crap.
That's awesome my friend! And I'm glad you liked the video. That means a lot to me 👍 It definitely top of my list for fun and accuracy. And as much power as you can handle with the right bands 💯
Cut you a pocket ramrod . 1/2" brass stock 4" long & chucked on a drill to round off both corners . Diy project thats in every Skeet Shooters ammo pouch. Inertia & Brass dont scratch barrels.
Another home made pipe bomb! Pipe is not rated for the pressures from modern smokeless powder! You're lucky that welded seam pipe doesn't explode in your face!
That's far from a pipe bomb. All the pressure goes out the barrel. Notice that the plastic shotgun shell casing didn't split? And that pipe is twice as thick as a standard shotgun barrel. Even more so where the firing pin makes contact. It's inside both pieces of pipe. Sorry you didn't like the video 😎
@@TrevcatCarroll-iv3te As a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE INVESTIGATORS # 11803 I can tell you that it isn't the thickness of the pipe that is the problem; and yes most of the pressure is released from the end of the pipe. The real problem is the grade of steel & cast iron in the fittings being used isn't heat treated & designed for the initial pressure when the shotgun round is detonated. Pipe is designed for liquids & sometimes compressed air to flow through- not for high pressure explosive gasses to be blasted through. Modern guns of all kinds have barrels that are milled or drilled from a solid blank of heat treated steel that is designed for ammunition using smokeless powder; while some shotgun barrels are thinner in construction than black pipe, the difference in the types of steel being used are a big difference in that the barrels are tapered from the head space forward to the muzzle crown, and are usually a smooth bore, some do have rifling for slugs & projectiles. Black & galvanized pipe, regardless of how thick the pipe wall is depending on the " schedule " of manufacture is; for example, most hardware stores sell schedule 40 & 80 pipe. Hardware store pipe is not designed to handle the pressures & when a home made shotgun using hardware pipe is fired, the blast literally causes microscopic fractures in the metal; the pipe may hold up to multiple firings, but eventually the microscopic fractures will weaken & the pipe will burst; the reason most modern guns don't burst everytime they are fired, is as I have already stated, they are made from different grades of steel & are proof tested at the factory. I am not trying to scare anybody or tell anybody what they can & cannot do! I am a N.R.A. member and I believe in the 2nd Amendment & our God given freedoms, but I am also a retired E.M.T/ FIREFIGHTER & Member of the N.F.P.A. my main concern in this lengthy comment is the safety of people and those around them, from my experiences as an E.M.T and a fire & explosion investigator, I have seen my share of bodies & parts blown to pieces by well meaning, fun loving Americans, that just wanted to make a gun or firearm of their own,but just didn't understand the full meaning of metallurgy & the differences between black powder, smokeless powder & double base powder & how dangerous a " home made gun using ordinary " hardware pipe" can be, there is a reason the gun manufacturers use solid blanks to make barrels & parts from & they proof test their barrels, before assembly & selling their guns to the public. Safety first! & if you are going to build a gun, don't be cheap& ask the gun manufacturers how they build barrels, don't let a cheap piece of pipe be the reason your loved ones have to call the coroner & pay the funeral home to come & get your parts! Be safe & God bless you!
Love the videos BROTHER, enjoyed meeting and talking with you at swamp stomp, I don't know if you remember me but I'm Ken, Kerry's brother he said you might like to go camping with us next time, hope you can make it .
Hello brother!!! Yeah I remember you. Glad you like the videos, just having some fun! Hopefully I'll get to camp with you guys soon and you should definitely come to the SRSS with Kerry this year. I'm pretty sure he's going again! Take care bro! 👍
USE A DREMEL WITH MODIFIED GRINDING WHEEL TO GET RID OF THE WELD SEEMS BLOCKING SHELL. TO GET RID OF REST USE A SHOT GUN SLUG WITH SAND PAPER AROUD AND FIRE THROUGH BARREL WITH LITTLE GUN POWDER.
Used this Saunders Pro-X wrist rocket in combination with the compact Snipersling arrow darts and the .7 mil rubber bands. Lemme tell ta'........brutal. Absolutely BRUTAL. 😎👍🏻
Thanks brother! I decided to do a variety of things on my channel just for fun. I subscribed to your channel. I'll be checking out some of your videos when I can. I hope you find some of my other stuff entertaining or maybe learn something. You can also hit me up on Facebook at Trevor Carroll Nice to meet you
Its not difficult...buy yourself a good bit with some extensions ....lightly run the bit down theblegth of the barrel and work out the weld. It takes time but mine turned out great and ive fired well over 100 rounds thru er.
@@TrevcatCarroll-iv3te chainsaw file, and or mil bastard file works great. I use the pipe from scaffolding as a barrel, works good, three years of use
@@hollandbozek234 I plan on making another one sometime soon. Also I'm going to get sleeves to go in the barrel. So I can shoot several different calibers. Just to see how it would work with let's say 410, 45, 38 and probably 22.
Lol! You can do it brother. 👍 It's not difficult. I done it the hard way. You are far better off if you find pipe without weld seams inside. That doesn't matter on the barrel. But the bigger pipe should be smooth inside. No weld. 😎
I was thinking about mustard chili and slaw like my hot dogs brother so I will try it! Here's one for you from Mom. Fried spam, red onion and honey mustard! 😉👍
