My F4 Brutale is finally reliable. All the sensors and the alternator, fuse box have been replaced. BUT my Triumph Street Treeple is every bit as good and it is reliable out of the box. Buy anything Italian again? Never! Just look at what they pulled on Suzuki. Fiat nearly send them broke.
Thats interesting. I have a 2012 Street 675R and am thinking about upgrading to a Brutale 910R or 1278RR. Which B4 do you have and how would you compare the bike to your street?
I have a Superbike collection of all the modern japanese and Euro Superbikes (even the only USA Superbike = The Supercharged Roehr 1250SC = Sold last year to Barber motocycle museum ) MV F4RR best bike of my collection . Its worked by Xbikes in UK All have been bullet proof not a single issue . Now my 2017 Suzuki GSXR 1000R Burned out bottom end bearings , number 3 cylinder Roughly 4000 miles on engine . Yes had oil/fluids ect ect ... Dealer fixed but got rid of it ASAP .
It was not the starter. It was the alternator. It appears that the the factory fitted alternator could not handle the revolutions on the highways. What do you expect? It is ITALIAN AND THE ITALIANS DO HONOUR THEIR FACTORY WARRANTEES.
The Importer Dealer has had the MV Agusta Butale F4 since November 2019 and they just finished it (twelve month later). The cost was $2800. That two thousand eight hundred dollars. This motorcycle has been faulty since new. Would I buy anything Italian? Not on your life. Over the past fifteen years since the MV was new the cost of repairs for the same fault have been well Over eight thousand dollars.

We bought it ant the selling dealer and three subsequent dealers went broke. Three importers went broke. It has cost us thousands ti rectify. It is still broke. The dealers and importers went broke because MV Agusta will not pay for the warrantee work. The current dealers and importer have no idea how to fix the MV Agusta motorcycle. Would you buy one? Never again.

MV Agusta is good to look at and to ride. Do not buy one because if yours happens to have a problem you will be on your own and good luck trying to get anything done under warrantee. $30,000.00 for a motorcycle that stops when it decides to stop and will not start until it decides to start. We have paid thousands to have the motorcycle rectified when it should have all been free. Right at the start the dealer shut his doors. Three more dealers shut their doors along with three importers. The MV Agusta factory would not pay the cost of the warrantee. The new / current dealers and importers are not interested and when we pay they do not know what to do or where to begin. The MV Augusta is now sitting in my shed and friends ask why I am not riding it. It is unreliable. My Triumph Bonneville T100 Black never stops. My son's Triumph Street Triple never stops.
is there a big diff in them,,for an example there are many f4 sorts 1000cc 1078cc and so on how does they compare and wich one to target. i found 1 named 2010 f4 312 1078cc,,how much are they worth.
sketchy on the motorway/ freeway when a vehicle passes you. apart from that, pretty good. Don't know top speed, I'm a learner and haven't got the skills/ balls to test it
it is firstly made for moto gp and your little helite vest would be a pile of shit and wouldnt do nothing for the rider! helite vests are for fat bikers whit wardrobes on the side of their bikes.
I have just bought this bike full ABS version build & ride quality is fantastic & I have had CBR 600F GPZ 500 & this little Honda brings a smile to my face every time its so light & flick able with punchy engine ...I just ride it & love it .
Solid and confident at freeway speeds? I dont know about that..Yes it can get up there. A gnat flies by and you are victim to torrential crosswinds. Just sayin'.. just ride it out. All I can say on that one.
The black one looks beautiful but the other colors look ugly to me. Seems like a great bike I'm planning to get one of these in black or a duke 200. I still haven't decided, I'm planning to buy it around December 2014 (putting year just as a future reference). Which one would you guys recommend?
I know some dude that bought this bike after he said he did not need a liter bike for years. Now he don't need his 600RR. And he hasn't even went to the Tail of the Dragon yet! LOL. You know they make a single wheel trailer you can tow with a sport bike? A Bug Out Bike ! Get busy on that!

Ive had over 40 biks of every make , from 70cc to 1000cc annd have been riding since 1972 ..had a 250 ninja & rode a 300 ninja . Love middle weights ..but lets face it , on paper and specs alone , the cbr250r has f/injection & the engine specs have it hands down over the kawi. Honda did the homework with this bike ..this weekend im going to my friends dealership to test one ..will probably ride it home
