I upload obscure 45's that I have in my collection. Some of them have been requests from members of 45cat. If you see something that I have in my collection on 45cat you would like to hear you can message me on that website. My user name is Rustwrench. Not all of them are in great condition but I try to upload ones that aren't available anywhere else. None of these records are for sale. See my comments on the other side of this recording - She Is My Reason. Good voice and talent, Terry Modl. I think he was from Eau Claire, WI. Might be wrong.
Probably 500 of these were pressed according to information I found out about the Coolee label and founder Bill Graft. Terry Modl was a cousin of my neighbor. They had been given this 45. The other side is pretty good too. "You've Got Evil on Your Mind". Pretty dated sound for 1971 or 72. Kind of Bobby Sherman like or Paul Anka, Las Vegas like. Not a big attraction by that time. I heard this recording back in the 70's - probably not long after it was recorded. Pretty good hook, but not the kind of hit that would have taken him places.
Thanks for sharing this! This is my great grandfather and i used to listen to this in high school. Always listen to the elvis or marty robbins version but it was never the same. Chills hearing this again. Thank you so so much.
