As is often the case with The Warning, the lyrics are open to the interpretation of the listener, but don’t necessarily correlate to the plot or meaning of the video. 😎👍

This was one of Austin's last video with Home Free. Now that Adam Bastien has stepped back in the THREE Adams in the group are going by their last names: Rupp, Chance, and Bastien (Bas-teen). Tim and Rob are still Tim and Rob.

Chance used to be a bass in his first group. Tim was just showing some of his 5 octave range for you. Chance has a lot of songs with the lead; I Can’t Outrun You, Cover Me Up, Some Girls Do, Yours, Helplessly Hoping….and more. Love the funny looks from the boys when Tim went high. 😂

I reckon this songs about those who, when the ladies were really young and starting out, told them they couldn't do it, like told them to be quiet because they're just little girls.

Great song. It - and the original album that it was supposed to be released on - was inspired by Dante’s Inferno.❤

That was such a great remake of this song! Nice to hear Chance singing some of the lines. Always loved Tim's crazy low notes along with his fabulous highs. Also love Adam's cool percussion sounds in this version too. There are some older live versions of this song that are very funny.

Good morning Austin has left the group a lot earlier than expected and Adam Bastien Aka Bastien has taken his place. Bastien used to sub for one of the tenors when Home Free first started and also was a member of Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave Bastien did his first concert with Home Free at the Country Rumble Fest in Lima,Ohio June 21 and The Grand Ol Opry June 22 and he did amazing They now have 3 Adam’s in the group so they opted to be called by last names less confusing that way. They filmed a video in Nashville with Bastien now we wait for it to be released. Home also released a welcome video it on RU-vid now called Adam Bastien’s First Weekend. Your Man it is 1 of 3 of the last videos with Austin in them the other 2 should be released soon.

As with a lot of their new videos, the video story doesn’t exactly follow the lyrics. The band states the lyrics are “about dealing with other people with a god-complex”. Could be a “gods-gift-to-women” type or a “you’ll never make it without my business skills/leadership” type. The video though is totally about young DPA being haunted by “haters” or personal fear & self-doubt and adult DPA are exorcising their demons (just as the person in the lyrics is)

From the 15-20 sec song snippet thing they released awhile back if you went and presaved on spotify it gave 15-20 sec previews of each song with a simple one-line description of the songs meaning. and for Six Feet Deep it says " A song about dealing with other people's god complexes"

As per the pre-save page they had with the songs of the new album, Six Feet Deep is a song about dealing with other people's god complexes. To me the entity represent the nay-sayers, the critics that told them that girls can't play rock, guitar, bass or drums, and that they should give up. The younger version of themselves are dressed like they were on the Ellen show in 2015. You can also see a guitar and drum from the Rock Band video game, which is a call back to their beginnings. The address of the house is 0628, which is the launch date of the album. The current band have their instruments chained to the floor, as to not have it taken or broken again.

I believe that the ghost represents all the obstacles and people that they, I believe, have endured (as they have mentioned in several songs), especially at the beginning, people who wanted to dissuade them with the typical negativity of envy! Shut up, stop singing and playing, the broken instruments.. in short, I think I'm not too far from the meaning of the song! Even the lyrics would be consistent with this meaning!

@bobby75044
@bobby75044 3 дня назад
@abrchief 5 hours ago The video takes shots at their critics from the past. "Shup up" I believe refers to the critics saying they should sing in Spanish, not english. "U can't" refers to their critics telling them that they would never make it as a band. They are exorcizing their demons, saying that they will see them in hell. To me this message is a bigger F U to their critics than Narcissista, but now they have moved on. "Choking on their name" to me is that they have made it despite their critics

@tehawfulestface1337 5 hours ago (edited) The three kids representing The Warning are each wearing the same shirts The Warning wore at the Ellen DeGeneres Show when they did a cover of Ozzy Osbourne for Ellen. ‘Haunted’ since they were kids by critics, doubters and haters. They survived and fought back by rocking hard. Now as grownups their music haunts one of those critics. Their music heard everywhere, and will hound him until he’s six feet deep. It’s just like The Warning to turn an unpleasant part of their childhood into incredible music!

This Deejay Young was part of the touring company for "Hamilton", and more recently, actually stepped in for some performances of it ON Broadway. (He has played both Burr and Hamilton, as well as a couple other roles.)
