I tried a complicated reapair like this for the first time and it worked,my controller has been collecting dust for the longest time now its back in action thank you so much!
Went to follow this to fix my stick drift and cant get the controller even opened up tried it on my non stick drift controller and I pop it open immediately wtf the broken one is a newer colored controller and the other one came with my damn ps5 when i got it a couple years ago😭
I thought for a half second after you said it worked we were actually going to see it finished…but I guess I’ll be on the edge of me seat a while longer! 😂
Wdym, it's super tidy, without running overly long lengths of cable which would increase voltage drop on the power cables, and increase latency on the button wiring
The sides of the inner black ring of my edge controller look practically peeled off, there is only the transparent plastic at this point. And fixes that doesn’t need soldering??
The right stick of one of my two controllers started to drift too, stuck at left direction from time to time. I thought it might have been happened when I raged to EAFC24, but now I doubt it so I can continue to rage. Was able of fix it thanks to the first part of your video even tho I had no Teddy Bear for mental support. Thanks mate! :)
I never understood why all the videos I've watched that they took off the nfc antenna from the bottom speaker housing. Unless you are changing the bottom speaker only keep it connected. Thank you for this video of you keeping it connected finally! And the balls are behind that round black sticker where you thought it was gauze. Also when reassembly does anyone torque the screws or just go till they are tight?
