Thank you. This also worked on my mini split, which is a different brand and remote. Hold down both temperatures up and down at the same time, it changes on the remote, adjust up or down and it changes on the unit.
My 2013 Chrysler Town & Country Touring L has hdmi and 110 power outlet and 2 rca inputs inside the cabin from the factory. They were way ahead of the game.
I had mine for 4 years now did a few big jobs and a bunch of maintenance it gets the job done ✅ (p.s never maintenance it and it’s still perfect if not better
I have a 2008 GMC Sierra that has 50012 thousand miles on it now and I put 372000 miles on it before I had any problems whatsoever out of it.. At 372000 miles I replaced the engine and I still have it as a work truck, the rear differential growls a little but everything else works as it should.. I also have a 2007 Chevy truck that works absolutely great that has 302000 miles on it but I have the ace in the hole on both trucks, this thing is the life saver for these trucks.. It's called the Range Technology AFM Disabler these things are awesome.. For people that have these vehicles with the AFM system you should check out the Range Technology Disabler..
Thanks for the info. I’m going to try this as soon as I get my batteries replaced in my Silverado remote. If it works, that’ll be crazy after having this vehicle for eight years and not knowing that. 😂. For those of you who write about getting to the point… I can’t believe somebody complains about a very short video that provides helpful information. Be grateful or move on. At least their comment bumps up your video algorithm anyway. 👍
when i checked my ground on the frame, it litteraly had the undercoating under it....wasnt even touching bare metal. the factory undercoated the frame then attached the ground
I have a similar kit and install is quite easy. One note, you may want to consider adding the cellular module and installing the app on your phone. It allows you to start your vehicle from anywhere. When I am leaving work in the Summer, I start vehicle so it is cool when I get it in and just the reverse in Winter. Feature is free for first year with purchase of module and then small charge every year after that.
Thank you for sharing. If you know a lot more about the remote I can tell you that I know at least one person who would be interested in learning more about how to use it!
dang i’ve watched almost every video i seen when scrolling and i’ve done it just how they are showing But Mines just doesn’t work. 2005 gmc sierra 2500. im really disappointed they all look soo good
I'd appreciate your opinion. I have a 16 silverado 4X4 with 6 cylinder auto . I've read the woes of guys with problems and talked to mechanics and dealers. Their response is "we don't see the problems with 6 cylinder trucks." Perhaps that is because they don't see many 6 cylinder silverados period? Anyway..I drive responsibly, no mountains around here, I don't tow, and I keep the oil serviced. With 65k miles, I'm about to get trans serviced for 1st time. Your opinion...should I feel safe and keep driving or trade for a Tacoma?
I just did this job. No liner take out at all. Everything was do-able except the back passenger one. I somehow broke it loose with two different flexible socket adapters lmao. That was absolutely awful and im not changing them again. Unless the truck goes until 300k they are there forever
Any problem with the backup camera? And did you lose any steering wheel button functionality? Thanks for the walkthrough and links! I'm looking to do the exact same thing, plus the Ottocast wireless setup, that you have in this vehicle.
