This event is a community project to get more business into Chinatown. If people are coming into Chinatown for the Lunar New Year, then perhaps a Chinatown Jewelry Week promotion can get them to stop into a jewelry store or stay longer to get food or souvenirs. All businesses are interconnected. Opened business=Jobs. We organized Chinatown Restaurant Week (participants saw a 12% - 18% revenue boost). A rising tide lifts all boats.
