Hello, my name is Taylor Duncan and I am a recovering distracted artist. Sometimes I come up with crazy art ideas that I try because "In my mind it works", and somehow it always comes out looking pretty not terrible.
I make family friendly entertaining, exciting, and inspirational videos about art and painting. All I want is to improve someone's day with the talents I have been blessed with, entertain and excite YOU about art, and maybe inspire you to go paint something yourself.
2 Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Proverbs 18:16 - What you are good at will put you in front of great people.
So watching this on 2x speed is the most accurate I’ve ever seen my inner ADD thoughts 😂 Also, turn ur spray paint tips to the direction of where there’s a itty bitty black dot at top lip of metal can (where tip mets can) for optimal spray performance. I’m not ADD. You are. lol
What if we put dye in the alcohol? Maybe do reactive colors, like how mixing a base of yellow, then dye alcohol blue, so when you spray, turns green!?😊
Great video. But, yeah, would have been nice to see the slow-motion 360 spin at the end Presumably, you also also put some Clear Coat over the final design?
Just a quick tip. I'm an Evidence Technician, aka Mr. CSI for the Sheriff's Office. It is pronounced Spatter, there is no L as in Splatter (wrong). The More You Know. 😂😊
First... Awesome paint job... second... try the splatter with a toothbrush and use your thumb to fling the paint for smaller and more controlled splatter effect. LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT... do not use that helmet on the road. never wear a used helmet for riding and also sanding and painting can damage the structural integrity of the helmet... or at least thats what the manufactures say... so use at your own risk. Also I feel the most difficult part of any paint job is always the prep and masking. That may be just me though?
Awesome video dude definitely going to use some of these techniques on my next RC truck body 💯 got some awesome ideas of my own off the back of you’re videos 💯👌🤙🇬🇧
Not sure if you know this or not but if you use appliance spray paint as a base and then apply regular spray paint while the appliance paint is still damp, it automatically crackles. 😉
I know now what I want to do with a table I've been looking at refinishing! How did you choose to seal this? Did I miss that detail? And have you done this kind of thing without the epoxy but still on a table surface? Love the video and excited to learn more!
