Cuttlebrook Koi Farm is located in Oxfordshire in the UK. We breed high quality Koi carp (Nishikigoi) and sell only the Koi that we breed right here on our farm. Many of our Koi have gone on to win awards around the country, competing against Japanese imports. Mark Davis, joint owner and breeder at Cuttlebrook Koi Farm, first studied Fish Farming at Sparsholt Agricultural College in Winchester and then in 1985 went on to spend 6 months living and working on a Japanese Koi farm. A talented artist, his love of art and his fascination of fish combine to produce many beautiful living works of art right here on our farm. We sell to hobbyists and trade and you can visit our farm by appointment. Please visit www.cuttlebrookkoifarm.co.uk for more information.
Hi! We can deliver to most of mainland Great Britain. Full information about the farm can be found here on our website: cuttlebrookkoifarm.co.uk/collections/koi-for-sale
Sorry to bother you but how much is your license for draining water from the river. As I'm having water level issues during the summer at my lake but I do have a river 20 meters away and was wondering how much water you use and costs. Cheers phil.
Hi Phil - the best bet is if you get in contact with the Environment Agency, they'll be able to advise you on legalities around it and costing. It's not expensive to do.
I had the pleasure of spending a day with Mark around 12 years ago. It was one of the best and most informative days I have had. Mark showed us around we helped making up the brush frames and saw his breeding stock. Then watched as he added them into the breeding tanks. We then helped out pulling the nets across the ponds. Then moved some fish from another hidden area I doubt Mark would remember but he certainly taught me a lot. Now this video wow! Well put together and totally enjoyable
Wow it sounds like you had a special insight there @@colinrowe1853 ! Mark treated you to a great experience from the sounds of it. Glad you enjoyed that day so much, and also that you enjoyed this new video too! Thank you so much for taking the time to say so 🥰🙌
@CuttlebrookKoiFarm all good this end thank you. Koi are great even if I lost the large mukashi (tumour) so big blow as she reached 70cm and she was only 6 in my small unheated pond. But all the others are great. See you all at the South of England show.
Thank @@douglascurl5581 😊🙌 You aren't far away at all! Hopefully we'll see you on the farm soon. We have an Open Day on Saturday 31st of August if you fancy popping by!
Excellent video! I’ve seen other koi spawning videos before but this one is different - in a good way. The microscope shots of the eggs through development into fry is top tier! 👌 I don’t want to wait for the next chapter! 😭
I'm actually moving out of Oxfordshire in the next couple of months and up to Yorkshire. Hopefully to a garden where I can start my first Koi pond. I may well be ordering from you guys at some point, its a very impressive set-up.
