One negative I have with fairfield at selden apartments is that the maintenance is downright awful. Other than that everything else i enjoyed and the pool is awesome. I never had any complaints about the floor creaking when people walk upstairs because its a natural thing that you're gonna have to listen to if you live in one of the lower level apartments. Either deal with it or don't rent a downstairs apartment and get an upstairs one. Simple. For people who have very high tempers they should rent an upper level apartment for sure if they dont want to hear the ceiling creaking because it will happen alot especially here.
Yuri Farber (the pissed guy) was the husband of the Countess (owner). She died a few weeks after you uploaded this video and he died a few months later.
@@STARFOXPERIENCE Yuri was introducing himself as her assistant and nephew of her previous husband for long years. At her funeral all were surprised he was a husband and all were shocked. She has only one daughter and 3 grandchildren, but I am not sure what happened to them.
I grew up in Port Jeff and I think this is the only time I've ever seen the house being approached in a car. My family knew the seamstress of the owner, Countess Nadia de Navarro-Farber, and her kids used to work there and took pictures. It was a super tacky decorated house. Lots of gaudy furnishings. Actually, her house in St. Croix blew it away. I heard she also had a home on Central Park South. The house was originally built in 1870, but obviously had alterations. As soon as the owner died in 2014, the kids had the house demolished for a new one. That property is worth a fortune. One of the best north shore perches you can find.
I’m guessing it’s your first real estate video. This house had the potential for greatness, however, the builder/client failed miserably with gas fireplaces. Especially outside?!?!?! Typical ridiculous Hamptons crap. Epic fail.👎
Wow! I remember this guy back in the 1980s when we would drink and cruise around Port Jefferson. We would see him walking the streets and yell hey Johnny and give him the finger. He would give us the finger right and we just start laughing.
I used to work with this guy a long time go. I heard stories about him flipping people off that got him upset, but never knew he was known for it or had the nickname Johnny FIngers until now. Despite being known to flip people off, he's actually a really nice guy that enjoys talking to people he knows well. He ended up retireing from where we worked, but I still see him walking around the Port Jefferson Station area from time to time.
Looks like alot has changed. Back in the 90s my grandparents lived in that same Fairfield development in Selden on college road and it was on the lower level in apartment 15N. They lived there for 14 years and I enjoyed every minute of everytime I went to visit them there and we used to always go the Blockbuster video that used to be there next to the Selden Plaza. We always food shopped at King Kullen which is now a Target standing in place of that. The Fairfield pool was always fun too. Sucks about your tires btw.
I grew up in port jefferson, this house was featured in the movie "shedevil" with rossane bar. Honestly when you have that kind of money you have a lot of secrets.
An old flame drove me to Belle Terre 25 years ago to get a glimpse of this mansion through the trees. I just found out that it got torn down three years ago. That’s unfortunate.
Well I would be pissed off too if somebody would drive straight onto my property.. But thank you for the footage anyway! It is really sad that they demolished the beautiful old mansion.
I miss the days of living in a dictatorship. I would have had you arrested and thrown into prison for 20 years just for the way you use a 'camera'. Did you not 'watch' this before you posted it??? How could you possibly be so low in conscientiousness??? How could you not know that this makes people sea-sick??
Beautiful house I assume, I say assume because I couldn't watch more than a minute without getting nauseous from too much and too fast camera movement. FFS pay a professional to film if you're dealing with a house this expensive
Heres the tour from CBS NewYork: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gh6ICG8XlgY.html Also feel free to look at the 45 million dollar listing on Zillow www.zillow.com/homedetails/9-Olde-Towne-Ln-Southampton-NY-11968/2100486148_zpid/
I think it's great that you got his expressed permission to publish this on RU-vid. Oh, wait. No you didn't. Real classy of you to post a video of a pretty severely developmentally disabled human for your amusement. At least you were reasonably friendly to him, so there's that.
Who's Garcia? I've been obsessed with this property before the movie, I use to drive down the road just to view it. One time even getting stopped by the cops. My friends in middle school first told me about it. They use to say, you never seen the pink mansion in port Jeff.
