As an American citizen and resident of California, I can agree with everyone that this airport approach over the bay is much better than the approach at San Francisco Airport
Where Is The "GO-AROUND"?!?! This Is NOT A "GO-AROUND"! It Was A "POSITIVE" Landing! The RWY Is Short! This Is Also A (Wide Body) A330! Please "EDUCATE" yourself on what a Go-Around really is!!
This isn't an A321N. This is an A320 or A320N. The A321N (and all A321s) have double slotted flaps. This one only has one, making it an A319, A320 or A320N. Since TAP doesn't have A319 with Sharklets, this is either an A320 or A320N, and I think it's an A320 based on the engines sound
The neighborhood that appears at the beginning is called Itaipuaçu. It belongs to the city of Maricá. That big rock ending up on the sea is called Pedra do Elefante, or "Elephant's rock/stone", because when you look at it from bellow it looks like and elephant laying down with its trunk on the sea. On the other side of it, you can see the beach of Itacoatiara, a high end neighborhood in Niterói, a neighboring city and one of the most important ones in the metro area of Rio. We can't see from the video, but there is a road crossing the mountain between these two cities/neighborhoods, and in the middle of it there is an "open view" to Itaipuaçu, and also an entry to a trail that leads to the 'head' of the 'elephant', to the most priviledged view. Yeah, many people go there. If you search for images of "Pedra do Elefante" on Google, you'll probably see some pictures taken from there.
