If Y dislike this, Y must be a complete idiot, sorry. OK, I'm NOT sorry. Gary is a legend. Like Odysseus, Herakles, like Robin Hood or Wilhelm Tell - he will never be forgotten.🤘
Whoever’s reading this, I pray that whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day!
Masterpiece? What a crock of shit. This is Squire way past his prime, substituting prima donna gesturing and pointless repetition for the kind of playing he became justifiably celebrated for. This solo is a terrific bore. I saw them a bunch of times in the late 70s, before they went down the tubes with "Drama" and all that crap. They were phenomenal, and then, like most great bands of the late 60s through the late 70s, they lost their inspiration and sold out.
No words, only melodies Tried to calm down my vibe But instead, it breaks me down Now I'm in tears, filled with regrets Memories about failures that I caused Emptiness is spreading, sadly I can feel it If there is a way to stop it, please tell me Now I'm in tears, drowning in my regrets What have I done, it caused me such a deep pain Even tho there is not a single word mentioned I'm still in tears, bitter ones, bitter as the regrets. Hope one day, they'll become salty Maybe then, I'll be more optimistic Cause, that's normal, or maybe I'm just waiting for the pain that the salt will made, As I'm a sinner and that's all i deserve. God forgive me, I don't know what I'm doing, I'm hopeless but I'm still listening to the blues, like an old farm guy, with a straw hat and a cigarette resting with the blues, Hoping that one day, it will heal me, Even as a loner. N.B.
Chris plays that dirty bass like a lead guitarist. A master. Im glad to have seen in the year before he passed. I have some great images of him. RIP Chris
So many scream Emerson, may he rest in eternal peace...but Wakeman is a master guiness, and comical as well. I saw this Union tour and thought it was great. Talk about a super group.
Gary was the best blues guitarist this planet has ever known, BB King loved him, I remember a comment made by him while he was playing on a show with Gary, "you're hot tonight young man" nothing compares, fastest lead licks I've ever heard and I've had the honour to hear him live at the UEA Norwich, I was absolutely devastated to hear that he had passed away while on holiday all those years ago now, I love all music, but when you hear Gary, it absolutely blows you away, makes me wonder, when I listen to the blues show on BBC radio 2 with the Mathew's girl, whether she has ever heard of the King of the blues, Gary Moore suppose suppose suppose I am 69
My brother had 'We Want Moore' on vinyl. I had a casette recording, wore it out. Guitar playing is spectacular on that live album. Got the 1986 or so Guitar For the Practicing Musician issue with the TAB for the studio version, studied and studied. Practiced. Read that tab. Let me tell you, if you get 1/10th to where Gary is, you are an excellent guitarist. Gary was absolutely as good as it ever got for guitar playing.
