@@SubUrbanNinja-EDC I do a lot of product using too. ;) Would I pick an Ozark trail for a lifetime of hard bushcraft? No. But will it do for EDC and/or many emergency uses? Absolutely. Their tents, their boots, pretty much all their gear, at least all that I've used and tested, is "good enough."
It is definitely not a full survival kit as it lacks container and water purification (unless you use the altoid tin itself to boil water). But I believe this kit will help you survival for several days. We have seen people live longer in the wilderness with far less like on Naked and Afraid. :-)
They false advertise their product. The waist size isn't even close to what you will expect. I had to return my w33/i30 because I couldn't even button them up and exceptionally tight round the thighs. I am a normal sized adult male. I returned them and they made me pay for shipping and tax. This place is a rip off! I will be reporting them to the BBB. Do not purchase!
I don't understand why people say that the Swiss champ is too heavy to carry. I carry mine every day. I don't notice that it's there and in addition to the champ I will either have my Ranger or a Huntsman. Why? Sometimes I like to carve and I find that it's easier to do intricate carving with the smaller Huntsman
America’s top medical schools, worried they have too few minority students, are doing something about it. They are lowering academic standards for admission and trying to hide the evidence. Columbia, Harvard, the University of Chicago, Stanford, Mount Sinai, and the University of Pennsylvania have already done so. The list already tops forty, and more are sure to follow.
@@dangoldnerd I already pulled money back out of the slit because I didn't push it all the way in. But I have used it twice already and both times I came home with money. So it works.
@@SubUrbanNinja-EDC I’m sure it works; I was just commenting on the fact that during the whole time I was viewing your vid, I kept thinking about picking that lock🤣. I wonder if you could disguise it in a phone case to make it less conspicuous 🤷🏻♂️
@@dangoldnerdyeah. At first I thought I would be embarrassed to be seen using it in the casino, but I found myself not caring. Infact a told a fellow gambler about it.
Swiss Champ has 7-layers of tools, but is quite chunky to hold. Still think the Handyman (6-layers) is the best of all. Just a little bit smaller. The body of the knife forms a handle that is usable with whatever tool you pick. The only tools you don't get are the fish scaler (marginal use at best), and the magnifying glass (very useful, I'll admit). Tough call. Maybe one of each.
As a kid when I used to go fishing a lot, I did use a pocket knife that had a fish scaler dehooker to unhook the fish. It is a great tool if you fish. And I agree that the magnifying glass is very useful especially when you are going blind like me. It is very hard to find that perfect SAK. The Swiss Champ is a bit chunky to hold while working with certain tools but it gets the job done most of the times.
I ordered two pairs as well and found them very uncomfortable. They were also much longer in length than ordered. I tried to return them and they would not accept them back. The said they would refund 1/2 of the money back and told me to donate them to charity. The money was never refunded.
The keys hang off my pants belt loop. I been carrying my keys that way for 30 years. LOL I was surprised that in the last 3 months, I have used most of my edc stuff for one thing or another. Everything I carry came in handy.
