Conditions needed to be considered a blizzard 1. Sustained wind or frequent gusts of 35mph or greater. 2. Considerable falling and/or blowing snow reducing visibility to under a quarter mile. 3. These conditions have to continue for at least three consecutive hours! I only saw one condition met....
Trust me it doesn't snow like this anymore here. Ocean water too warm. High pressure stops just over philly rest of pa gets rocked tho and we get rain😣😣😬😬
@@Swaggmire215 Nothing really to do with the ocean temperature near you. Just depends on where the high and low pressure systems are. Within the last month now, late 2022 and early 2023, New York has been getting lots of snow thanks to low pressure systems coming from the west and the north, and will likely get more before winter is over. You lot will probably get some too in Pennsylvania.
A little bit of snow is fun. Too much is just messy and a hassle lol I do like how quiet it gets when a good amount falls though, thanks to it absorbing all the ambient sound. Thats really the only part I like about snow.
please read my page, I am a 32 year old young man with severe disabilities and I would ask for your help. Thank you very much from the heart! And if there is no difficulty for you, I would ask you to share my site. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas holiday in the circle of our loved ones! www.kristian.life/en
I watched without the volume up so I guess I didn’t have to be bombarded with bad music , as some have mentioned lol 😂. Ehh .. it’s not a bad video , just thought it was going to get crazy with the snow fall and was kind of let down in some ways but overall , not bad ! All I could keep thinking about was about how many times folks turned the lights on and off haha..
@@OnTheRocks71 Yes and I noticed they were clearing the snow from the sidewalk at 3am Saturday, and then 4am and then 8 am and 9 am etc. Great community spirit. If I ever get back to your wonderful city, I am definitely going there for a few drinks. Many thanks, Great video.
I love time-lapse vids and this one is excellent. Interesting to see how much time cars spend parked at the curb. Coming out to clean your car so it's ready to go is smart. Someone is the first to get up; someone is last to go to bed. A resident goes outside when he/she smokes. Activity picks up starting at six a.m. Sunday early is the quietest time. Thanks for sharing.
When I lived in Center City Philadelphia, after every big snowfall the streets were filled with people just walking around looking at the snow, just like in this video. It was kinda fun.
