While a couple of predictions have WVU in the top 25, most do not even though they tend to have about 5 other Big 12 teams listed. That would mean they figure WVU no higher than 6th in the conference, and I think that's underrated.
I never cared about real players being in the game for this exact reason. I can't wait until I'm 6-7 years into my dynasty with all AI generated players.
Look, I REALLY REALLY hope that Small does decides to play for WVU!!! I believe he is a tremendous player that has a huge upside and would be a fantastic add to the team!! But, I think a school like WVU does the best when they get players that want to be there, I guess like most, lol, but I'd rather have players that are all in for the Mountaineers instead of wondering if they would have been better off somewhere else... Idk man, but I really hope he along with all the others they have added decides to stay, I believe they can have a really good team this year!! LET'S GOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS 👏👏🏈🏀⚾
Some time there is nothing to rumors but to stir the fan base, and they feel like they did something by creating a stir.... and taking focus off there lame story at home... its not a new tactic but some small town folks fall for it every time.... in November we will see who is here and who is ready to play.

Volleyball former coach has been in the ncaa tournament before Morgantown. Had to recruit for volleyball when girls can leave year after year. Volleyball has not done anything since the 1990s.
If they didn’t think they were going to get some kind of advantage, they wouldn’t insist on having it that way. Hasn’t life taught us anything? If it smells fishy, it is fishy! Also the non calls are the devastating ones! You have to be twice as good as a player holding you if you are going to beat them consistently. This was always a huge problem when we played Oklahoma.

WVU ranked #2 and TCU finished ranked #1 in the NCAA's sport of Rifle for this past season. Good luck to those athletes selected to participate in the 2025 Olympic Games in Paris. I remember when WVU's Ginny Thrasher won the USA's first Gold Medal in Rio a few years ago. Let's get more Big XII teams to enjoy Rifle. Also, the Big XII should sponsor Men's soccer so WVU does not have to play in the Sun Conference.
The foolish part of all of this is where this is all going. NFL light will fail miserably. College has survived as an alternative BECAUSE it is an alternative to the NFL and NOT an NFL junior division. The regional rivalries made it important and interesting. I DO NOT care about Notre Dame vs. UT or USC vs. Ohio State. Etc. They are fools.
WVU donors will evenally run out of money just like 25 % of college football will happen. Maybe more will happen down the road like up to maybe 30 % of x
I look at our schedule and players on our basketball team and I wonder how we are going to score within the first 12 seconds of having the ball in our hands.... Holly crap , I am concerned to say the least... The learning curve for Neal Brown took some time and he is still growing and sure Neal had the worst hand ever dealt his way with the game changing / Covid days and Big 12 level of play & catch up our football program needed ... Our Basketball program is not like our football program and the big changes have already happening... so the learning curve to play at this water down level of play of the Big 12 , will be a challenge for our new guy... 20 win season is the goal and I don't see that in this team... oh, 20 wins in a season is always the first goal... we need more power in the paint and on the boards... lets go mountaineers!!!!
After the commitment from G Joseph Yesufu, former MVC 6th Man of the Year, we still need a scorer and a Big to fill out the rebuilt roster. We're in much better shape than we were at the beginning of last season with only 7 eligible players as long as these guys remain healthy.
I think this player is the 6'4" + player that Brown says is missing. They will use him as a Flex TE/WR that closes out the Offensive needs. The summer and Fall to concentrate on Defensive players. DL depth and Safety depth.
The 2024 Backyard Brawl is being played right now (Tuesday evening) on ESPN2. WVU leads Pitt 8-0 after 3 innings. Looks like thousands of WVU fans made the short trip up I-79 North from Morgantown.

Everyone acting like neal brown is nick saban blows my mind. Dudes 31 an 29, and theres been several instances where neal browns decision making has cost us games
I don't think anyone is confusing Neal Brown and Nick Saban, but in all fairness Saban was 34-24-1 at Michigan State, going 6-5-1, 6-6, 7-5 and 6-6 in his first four seasons before going 9-2 in his last year there. So there was a time when even Nick Saban wasn't to be confused with Nick Saban.
