Proud owner of Wildside's Babyface Finsta out of Leiva's Working Overtime, and sired by Wildside's Renegade. He was the best dog ever, and still miss him
I would’ve loved to see what a litter off Pete and Medusa would’ve looked like... man...realizing I was born in the wrong decade😂😂wishing I was a 90s kid rn
These are some mighty fine looking bulldogs here. This working/purpose breed has withstood the test of time despite the times drastically changing. The APB is a dog that was designed and used as hunting dogs, butchers dogs, and as warring dogs in the bloodsport of bull baiting and then later matched against one another in the pit. Like dog expert, author, and breed historian Diane Jessup writes: “First a hunter, then a butcher's dog, then a baiter, then a dog fighter, American Pit Bulls which display behavior typical of their heritage are gripping dogs; they come from a long, long genetic history which dictates they get a hold and HANG ON! This behavior saved their life during the years they were hunting boar, stag and bear, and also stood them in good stead when they moved on to working bulls, bears and other animals in baiting sports. This same behavior can work to make breaking up a fight quite easy and safe. The Pit Bull is a bulldog in action and appearance. He is a gripping dog - not a terrier (which means Earth dog which pursues its quarry underground). The English bulldog is a relatively recently developed animal designed strictly for the show ring. In fact, English bulldogs were not even created until several years AFTER bull baiting (the purpose for which it was supposed to have been bred) was banned and discontinued in the United Kingdom. So, it is impossible for the Pit Bull to have been developed from a breed younger than itself. In fact, the English bulldog is developed from the original working bulldog - the Pit Bull. Written Pit Bull pedigrees date into the late 1700's. The history of the Pit Bull far predates the time when bans on bull baiting caused blood sport fanciers to turn to fighting dog against dog."
@@darrincassidy9045 about to,go live with my dogs,nd hook my channel up!!!! My new stage name!!!! like Dr,jekyll & mr,hyde lm still one in the same!!!!! You got damn good eyes?
Calm down guy. You have to be a rookie to come off like this. Name one dog that produced a gr. I'm in nc, and I have never seen or heard of one. I can tell you how many lost in these parts.
@@40streetblack79 What I'm saying is Lucifer was the best producing dog to ever came of of the yard. The rest was decent. He's dogs didn't produce nothing to write home about. He did know the game, but his dogs were average at best.
@@dogman_ okay, dog I'll give you that, but what about the individual dog itself bull dozer, nigerino, renegade, mean Jolie, what about the dog from an individual standpoint!!!! Never heard of sins of zebo,or Jimmy boots, king cotton that rumble like they did, they produced good dogs but nothing no where near the caliber they were, they were aces!!!!
Antonino, some old timer, says the dogs were average at best, but Lucifer was the truth that mothfuker produce grand champion!!!! But the rest was average good dogs...
Ed Farron had good dogs not a good heart he killed them all 150 including pups when he admitted to dog fighting the spca took them instead of take that sh1t like a man he pleaded guilty to lighten his sentence in exchange for the whole yards death he wrote detailed events in his book of fights and it was not pretty man quite fkd up
No Amigo, He got busted for suspicion of Dog Fighting... February of 2009 a judge ordered 129 Dogs to be destroyed. They didn't even try to adopt them out. I actually think the number of dogs killed was more than I earlier stated. Who's the Bad guys in this case, not Wild Side Kennels but the State of North Carolina...Ed's Dogs were well taken care of and he never mistreated his Bulldogs...He loved the breed so much he changed states he drove from California eventually ended up and got settled in North Carolina the heart of Bulldog, and this had to happen.
Ron Jaime,l was thinking the same exact, thing you dnt see American pitbull today run that large, but l like the lanky, lengthy. Long, versatile dogs, dnt care for the short muscular type.not at all.
@@40streetblack79 yeah they use to call em the "athletic " type. If there was a dog that could do everything good that would be that dog. Not great at 1 thing because it wasnt breed for that like other breeds but it could hold it's own with the best of em. I was lucky to have one of those years ago. Got the pup from a black man up in the Dallas area. He had a yard of old bloodline dogs from his dog named gypsy. Yall old dog men might of heard of him or his dog
@@ronjaime3493 yeah,l feel ya,So what do they call em now,all this short, short muzzle little legged pitbulls of today!!!! Some these dogs on these kennels, scare to come out of the dog house!!!!
@@40streetblack79 lmao yeah they are.. "athletic" types still around today. But your not gonna find em on a website, or on youtube. Your gonna find in a yard in the middle of no where with about 30-40 other dogs that all look the same. where the guy that owns em isnt tryin to make any money selling em hes just trying to keep that bloodline as pure and game as possible. Good luck finding those unicorns.
@@ronjaime3493 damn, bruh you hit the nail on the head, them old timers with that game old blood ndem killers, dnt give a fuk about fortune n fame!!!! They rather let the dogs past away on their yard b4 they let a moron get his hands on it.
