Hello everyone, WELCOME to my RU-vid channel on this channel you will see vlogs, family vlogs, reviews and a bit about how I am and my family. please feel free to follow me and my family on are travels!!
We stayed here and found nothing to do outside the park for miles ! The beach was down a steep long slope and if you dont have shed loads of money to book activities (if you can) then its a long drive to anywhere... would not go back. Lots of issues with cleaning and overselling activity passes across Haven parks.
Remember visiting there 40 years ago. It rained for a week, there was seaweed piled 6 foot high on the beach. And if I remember correctly you could see the Royal Marines training on the cliff top!! Looks well nice now!!
stayed here 51 years ago as a 8 year old. 1972 how it has changed. you could go horse riding. field to the left . when you went threw the gate towards the beach.
What temperature are you setting the soldering iron to dude? I'm trying to replace the 2 front arms but cannot desolder the wires from the ESC. Even at 480℃! God knows what type of solder DJI are using but my 80 watt Iron melts all my other types of solders at much lower temps without issue 🤷♂️ Edit - noticed you using the wide tip, tried it and worked straight away. Thanks for the Vid 👍
I've just come back. Did not enjoy it at all. Far too commercial now - burger king etc. The onsite chip shop is awful. No phone signal at all on the whole camp. You have to get Haven wifi and that only works if you stand inside or right outside the main reception building. Caravans far too close together. Sadly I will not be going back.
Worked here for a 6 months its a shit hole 😂 glad you only went on a holiday only thing i got from it was i met the girlfriend there apart from that would avoid go to "lowerhyde" instead 🤙😁
were you allowed to take dogs into the show bar can you remember, looked quite nice thinking of going in two weeks just looking to see what it's like. Good video.
This place is really lovely and totally ideal for family holidays. The chalet was extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. The beach is wonderful as well and a lot more attractive then many overfilled foreign beaches with streets directly behind them and the inevitable ugly hotels. I would like to spend a week or so here myself!!!!
The beach is the best * stayed there 3 times * ! But like most staycations - Its whats around us. I live in Swindon , Wiltshire - we are a hub for people staying here but visiting surrounding areas. That is why we are so expensive.
Stayed here couple of years ago on recommendation of a friend with family during school holidays, lovely place but appaling service, maybe we were just unlucky, main eating/drinking place had about 6 till points but only one staff member serving, was a queue of about 30 people waiting to be served and food was at least hour and quarter, not what I expect, no problem with it being busy I expect that at peak time but venues should ensure they have the staff to offer at least reasonable service, would go again but not during peak time.
Love Thorness Bay. We've stayed here 8 times and going back in September. It's a fabulous dog friendly beach which is why we go and it tend to be much quieter than the other Parkdean sites on the other side of the island.
We are going to the Barmouth site next year for a week, really excited! We didn't manage to go this year but have been going to haven sites since I was little. My fondest memories are those slushies you can get at night! Sweet memories 😭
I go there quite a lot. Whilst the caravans are on a slope and the path to the beach is steep, its not difficult if you don't stress or rush as toddlers and elderly can walk it. Its a lovely sandy beach, you can walk quite a long way and almost to Exmouth I think so lots of space. (I haven't walked too far yet) There are lots of playgrounds and green space on the park itself. There is a farm theme park and shop at the entrance of the park for a fee which is great value, you can feed the deer, pet the farm animals etc. Exmouth is great for bike rides, there is a bridleway towards Exeter which is so scenic. Really good restaurants in Exmouth. (my favourite is the Mexican restaurant) Lots of footpaths into the surrounding countryside and the nearby villages are full of hidden gems. There is a gift/children's clothing and toys shop in Budleigh Salterton that I love shopping at. It's a great holiday even if you just stay on the park as there is a swimming pool and live entertainment centre. If you do go and spot me flying my kite on the beach, come and say hi. Lol 😆
