They are actually together on a magic the gathering card for its Baldur’s Gate set called Astorion’s Thirst the flavor text reads “stop Bleeding it’s distracting”
Gale was my first romance, on my 2nd now & I am romancing Astarion - it recently occurred to me I want to do a run with these 2 but was really torn on which to actually play. I love Gale's kiss animations - so if I play Astarion I will get to see Gale's kiss animations, which I do prefer - but if I play Astarion I feel like it'll be harder to gain Gale's approval, it's easier to gain Astarion's approval, especially if I go for an evil run. Astarion would have to be picking all good options as Gale is a good boy.. Playing Gale I could go full evil and Astarion won't care.. Tough call but a bloodweave run is certainly in my future~ This is (imo) the ultimate pairing 💯
I actually had Gale eating out of Astarion’s hand earlier than with Astarion with my Tav. Both origins are good to play through but the only downfall to either is not getting to hear their voices as much as Tav. I’m on an Astarion run at the moment with my favorite bearded wizard getting ready to face down Cazador and having a honest feeling of dread (which is probably why I’m on RU-vid instead of getting on with it. Just Orin and Ralpheal to deal with after that and onto the slog feast of the brain I must go.
It's actually the opposite in my experience. It was nigh impossible to get Astarion's approval as gale during act I since you can't offer to let him drink your blood. Playing as astarion also has the extra layer of being able to choose when you reveal that you're a vampire! I'm doing it both ways atm but the Astarion as Tav version is my favorite.
Not to take away from the absolutely adorable piggies here, because they sure are beautiful. But you have a carpeted kitchen!?!? I've never seen that before.
