I could barely get 800m in backcountry area :( Other people are also complaining, and it seems that there is whole batch, with faulty low range Mavic Airs 2s
It depends on the location. If you live in an area with a lot of electromagnetic sources, then the range will be very bad. Just check in your settings the dB of your mavic while flying and you will find out if the signal has interferences. Hope you will find a solution.
Nice test. On your next range test, can you fly much lower, in the region of 200', the height most will fly at, to give a more realistic distance? Thanks.
That was illegal in so many ways. Loss of VLOS - visual line of sight. Flew above 300m. Flew above populated areas outside of VLOS. Be more careful man, its 99.9% safe to fly, but that 0.01% can kill people, for real (on the ground and in the air).
