When I Iived in Ontario I thought it was a sound of an electric saw and that Canadians were very hard working people cause they construct something in their houses all the time, even on weekends. When I kept hearing this sound in all parks on any day I was wondering who and what was sawing at any time in this country? Then finally I realized that cicadas live in Canada too. Now I am in Italy. Cicadas are very loud here but it is an absolutly different sound! At the beginning it irritates you as you can hardly hear your interlocutor. But then you get used to it. Now I prefer the Italian ones))

There are twice as many people on this planet as there were when this episode aired. How fast will the current 8 billion double. Horrific. China is the only country that's done anything about population control.

Rodney's jokes, always, flowed like a feather in the Niagara...His mannerisms made each and everyone of his jokes that much funnier 😂...Rodney's style of comedy was like no other comic's, and vice-versa...I love watching his movies, too...My favourite one, of the ones I've seen so far, are, "Caddyshack" and "Easy Money"...Rodney's authenticity was refreshing, his voice and delivery were perfect, for comedy...The man seemed to be gunny, 24.7...He had a quicker wit than, probably, any comic, in the business...Rodney was to comedy, what Buffett is to business, what Pacino is to acting, and what Emeril is is to cooking.

Johnny Carson is one of the most naturally talented comedians and show hosts. Pitch perfect delivery and timing. No profanity, no vulgarity, no insults, no put downs. Just brilluant writing with natural talent. RIP, Johnny Carson.

I am so sorry he smoked so heavily and was so addicted to cigarettes. He could have had many more years with us if he had been able to.quit smokingany years earlier. I don't think he ever was able to quit until the veey end when he was too sick to do it anymore.
